this coin is great has a big potential but i think you should add masternodes, or other feature like anonymous, to make it more appealing, with new feature we can see high value to 10k satoshi or more, and compete with other strong x11 coins, i'm holding many now, because the staking is very profitable

I'm a weather nut so I kind of like the name, lol... and the basis for the blockchain is proven POW/POS tech with one minute block times.. nothing groundbreaking, though.

I'm already running the old Mac wallet. What are the steps to change to the new version? For example, will I need to download the blockchain again?
You could place the bootstrap.dat into your roaming directory, should speed things up a bit when syncing.
Re-downloading the blockchain shouldn't take long, though

Do I have to delete any files of the old wallet first?
I would cut and paste everything into a new folder as a backup, leave your wallet.dat in that folder, then run the newest version of the wallet. Cheers!

The chips look alright, I was looking into proofs and it seems plastic tokens is the cheapest way.

They are merely collector's items, nothing more. Will be updating the design, though. I might have to send you one of the prototypes just for this post, LOL

Finally downloaded the wallet and started to buy some RAIN, what is a good amount to start with to earn some decent staking rewards? I was thinking of starting with 50k at the moment I have 10k RAIN. I can't believe how much tis coin has gone up in a short amount of time. Keep up the good work dev!
i believe the website says its 240 minutes to mature

How would I go about mining on a mac? or is this not possible?
well, for POW, you can always use miningrigrentals.com (if you don’t own any hardware yourself that is).
You can rent another persons miner for several hours/days, and point it to a Condensate mining-pool. If it’s not working properly or loses connection, etc. they give a refund.
Or you can use NiceHash, but I’d really not recommend it.
Basically it is almost the same thing, just don’t like the way they work and it is more expensive.
I tried compiling CUDA-miner couple of times but none work. Well one did, but was really old version. And if you ask if someone can help with it, the usual answer is: “Mac is not designed too BLABLA FUCKING BLA”
It’s my mac I do whatever I want with it...
But if you find a decent working version, I’ll be happy to hear about it!!!
Last option is to buy a bag, drop it in the wallet and keep staking that thing 24/7.
I probably forgot some stuff, but at least you got some kind of an answer
