We are now knee-deep into Q4. That means it's high time to update the project roadmap... and that's just what we've done.

We'd like to share v0.2 of the 01coin Project Roadmap now. We are a lot closer to reaching our goals than we were with the release of v0.1, but nevertheless we have a lot of work ahead of us yet.   

I'd also like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that this is a community coin. That means there are a lot of tasks that need to be done, and we are always grateful for any help you may be able to provide. If you have any skills whatsoever and are interested in the success of the 01coin project, please don't hesitate to come forward and volunteer them.

We are excited to announce that the long-awaited ZOC/BTC market is now live on https://www.cryptaldash.com/go.

To recap... CryptalDash is the exciting new integrated exchange with a built-in arbitrage engine for trading simultaneously on a number of other Tier 1 exchanges such as Binance, Bitfinex, Poloniex, Bittrex, and many others! 01coin won a community vote for a free listing on CryptalDash back in May. Well, the community's efforts in that competition and its patience since are about to be rewarded!

Admittedly, the ZOC/BTC market was actually added last week, but there were some bugs with deposits and withdrawals. The zocteam discovered those bugs immediately and have been working with CRD support staff to resolve those issues. Turned out, the bugs affected all BTC-based coins listed on CryptalDash, and it was the zocteam that helped them figure that out. Suffice to say, deposits and withdrawals are now fully functional, and the community can be confident in using the exciting new CryptalDash exchange!

CryptalDash is a bit different that most exchange experiences due to its built-in multi-exchange arbitrage platform. In the coming days and weeks, we will be sharing some explainer videos from CryptalDash to help you get the most out of your trading experience. Introducing 01MN.net Masternode Hosting Service

We are excited to introduce a new product in the 01coin ecosystem to complement our existing VPS service at 01VPS.net.

The newly-launched beta at 01MN.net offers a fully-integrated, fully-automated masternode hosting service. You can use 01MN.net to purchase whole nodes wherein you retain management of your masternode collateral and controller wallet. You can also use 01MN.net to purchase shared masternode and staking pool seats.

During this initial beta phase we are offering services for 01coin (ZOC), Sparks Coin (SPK), Dextro (DXO) and GossipCoin (GOSS). More to come soon!

Things have been pretty busy around here lately with the new wallet release, the video tutorial, progress on the website and whitepaper, and the Crex24 + CryptalDash integrations that we kinda forgot to mention a new listing partnership with Cheddur! The new 01coin v0.12.3.3 is now available for download from https://github.com/zocteam/zeroonecoin/releases/tag/v0.12.3.3.

This is a critical bugfix release of the 01coin core, although it is not a mandatory release. It fixes a well-known deadlock issue that we inherited from that latest Dash code, which caused masternodes to hang intermittently. If I might take a moment to brag about our devs, even Dash themselves have not been able to resolve this issue yet - this is a completely custom solution exclusive to ZOC. Plus, there was a serious vulnerability discovered in the Bitcoin Core codebase recently that this release also resolves.

While this is not a mandatory release, we do encourage all full node operators (masternodes, mining pools, explorers, exchanges etc.) to update ASAP.

Masternode operators, please note that this release does not require you to restart your nodes unless they are already in a deadlocked state. If you simply stop the daemon, replace the old binaries with the new, and start the daemon again - your node should remain ENABLED without any further intervention required.

Nope, not on CMC yet. Currently on 4 exchanges as per the ANN, with another coming soon. Current trade volume is generally in the range of 20,000 to 80,000 ZOC per day. So no, nothing wrong. Thanks for checking in!

We have been on the lookout for a good, third-party backup explorer ever since lchain.cc went away. In particular - since our official explorer is built on Iquidus - we were looking for an explorer based on a completely different platform so that users had greater choice for their 01coin blockchain exploring needs. AltExplorer is a completely custom-built block explorer solution with exchange integration and we are delighted to announce this partnership!

It is important to note one key difference between the official explorer and the AltExplorer, though. AltExplorer takes the burned premine address into account when calculating circulating supply. So the circulating supply number at AltExplorer will always be inflated by the balance of the burned premine. Please keep that in mind.

UPDATE_1 @ 17:45 EDT: All ZOC MNs have slipped into SENTINEL_PING_EXPIRED mode. Please don't do anything to try to fix this - all MNs are still receiving rewards for now. Rest assured we are working to provide a solution ASAP. We ask that ZOC MN owners please stand by until further instruction.

UPDATE_2 @ 18:45 EDT: If your ZOC masternode is stuck in SENTINEL_PING_EXPIRED status and you host it on 01VPS.net, simply rerun the 01coin masternode recipe and it will be automatically upgraded with Sentinel. Give it up to 30 mins and its status should change to ENABLED.

UPDATE_3 @ 20:30 EDT: If your ZOC masternode is stuck in SENTINEL_PING_EXPIRED status and you host it on any VPS provider other than 01VPS.net, paste this line into your masternode VPS to upgrade to Sentinel:
