Any news guys? I reckon we could copy a lot of great ideas from Karmacoin - that coin is a rags to riches story right now - Went from 35 Satoshi, to 1 Sat, to being relegated to the Litecoin market, and now since March it has gone from 15 Litoshi to today 265 Litoshi LOL

We have fewer coins than Karma and faster block times - I spent months in that community - I know what they did and more importantly HOW they went from zero to hero.

If the devs are keen to hear the ideas and the way they went about them PM me. I have a substantial portion of FAIL and really want this thing to succeed as long term investment. It certainly can, but it needs a good shove to get going.

Get on it guys Smiley

I want my boat.

If there's anything we can do to help let us know.

OK, guys - we'll talk in IRC very soon. I think that the best time is somewhere between 6 and 8 pm GMT. Also, batesresearch is completely right that we first need to build good ground, but for that we need strong community which is not complaining every time when price drops or people FAIL us. Meanwhile I want to inform you that FAIL is now among the top 15 currencies on Comkort's voting. Maybe we really are failing to fail.

That's true if peoples only concern is price / or outside people letting us down then there probably not for this coin. I understand a lot of coins have a lot of people churning profit and it is one of the main drives for a lot of coins, that won't help our coin become stable. Of course we want value but for me a strong foundation is much more important than price value.

Let's FAIL ON!

Spartak, I see.
Well, let's see if they're still interested in helping code for us. If not, we'll have to come up with another solution. Like us, I'm sure they're busy people too. It's hard to work all day and then have to come home and code for us Failers for free. Let's get in touch with your coders and see if there's anything we can do to get things moving again.

We can discuss things at #failcoin on freenode. (Or another IRC, if you like.) Maybe Bates wants to join in too :O)
I'd like to talk about what else needs to be done: Faucets, giveaways, contests, promo ideas, etc...

Once I finish getting my (very modest) exchange coded, I'm going to have a few crypto-currency gaming sites setup. Something along the lines of Poker, BlackJack, Roulette, etc...Whatever the Failcoin community would like to see. I hope that games using FailCoin will help bolster our position in the crypto world. But we can talk about that later. Let me know when you're available to chat on IRC. I live in San Diego, CA, by the way, just in case we're in different time zones.

Sweet dreamz all you cryptonauts and failerz!

I've contacted a few people over the last few days who do games, faucets etc and will hopefully get a few more established. I am happy to join on IRC my time zone is UK so we'll have to work something out( I think your something like 8 hours behind me)

As for you setting up some gaming sites that would be ace, besides loving playing them myself they will be good for the coin, I would love to learn how to code things like that aswell.

As Spartak_t has always said this coin is a work in progress we want good foundations first! then we can push from there.

I myself have backed many coins before back to the days of litecoin first coming out and feathercoin a few years later a coin needs good ground to build on.

Hey guys (Bates / Spartak),
I'm sorry to hear your devs failed :O( Why are they no longer interested in coding for us?

What was it you were hoping to do? Maybe I can persuade them with a little sweet-talk and a few dollars to keep moving forward? PM me or let's Skype to discuss in greater detail.

By the way, I just purchased a gridseed Blade (5.2MH/s) ASIC and am currently testing it on Failcoin. Hopefully this thing will run stable. I'll post results for those who are interested in 5.2MH/s at a mere 140 watts.

-Xerodrag

Because they promised changes on the code to be made last weekend, but remained silent for days. I can't tell if they are still interested - they just didn't kept their word. Personally I know that they are good guys and maybe have a lot of work atm, but thats not the case. We can arrange "meeting" in IRC for example, but I don't like "dollars idea". We need dedicated developer/s who believe in the coin itself...

I am tired of hearing 'promises for good things in the future' - Give us something already. You cannot expect anyone to mine yet alone buy a coin where the devs refuse to discuss the future of the coin beyond 'we'll tell you when we are ready, BIG THINGS ARE COMING' nonsense.

Either come out with even a rough outline of some plans for the future or admit there aren't any, but its not reasonable to string people along with literally no disclosure of anything you are planning for the coin.

It doesn't have to be certain - it just has to be something. Something to show the coin isn't a waste of time and money.

No one will stop you to mine some other coin. There is other coins, houndred of them. Other possibility to become rich is gun and bank, but you can get jail. Your choice.

"but you can get jail" - Huh?

What does "something" means? You are in need to be lied? You are tired? We are honest and we speak the truth! Yes, we have expected really big news and support, but we got FAILed. Thats it. Does that mean that we give up?

NO!
