I just pulled my wallet.dat file and launched the wallet so far 14 active connections stuck on ~6849 blocks remaining until sync.

Those steps have worked for me in the past, I always get it to work somehow. I just shut my wallet down and restarted, I will report back.

This happens to me every month, the reason is if the wallet is producing stake and it goes out of sync it gets jammed up. Solution is a bitch because you have to re- download the entire blockchain without your wallet.dat file in the user/app/data folder. Back up the wallet.dat file and keep the config file.
Shut the wallet down delete all files but the config file in the user/app/data folder after you have backed up the wallet.dat file. Launch the wallet and let it sync, this will take a while depending on the speed of your computer. After/ if the wallet syncs shut down the wallet and add your wallet.dat file and launch the wallet.

Any idea why I have 0 weight on all of my coins and this at least for days? I have up to 10207 confirmation on one block and still weight is 0. I'm using 1.3.0.1 beta.
How old your coins are? Block should be at least 8.8 days old to start gaining weight.

My 10000 confirmation blocks have weight 0 too. First block with weigth > 0 that I have has 10984 confirmations and it is from 2014-09-27.

High PoS Coin IRC Society
So I've been watching Hyperstake (HYP) and noted that they have a fairly active community going on in their IRC. Unlike the usual junk altcoins vying to "replace BTC" before crashing in value as "investors" move on to the next coin, high PoS coins can exist in harmony since they all provide different features and risk/return profiles to the cryptocurrency *asset* market.
Right now, I'm trying to see if there is interest in having a joint IRC channel for such coins. I'm looking to involve established coins with at least semi-active developers.
Feel free to reply and/or PM me with suggestions as well as anything that you'd be willing to offer, help with, or spearhead. I don't mind topping off tipbots, games, and other aspects, but I'm looking to have something that the community runs and is interested in doing. Thanks and happy staking

Back up your wallet.dat file and delete everything in the user/appdata folder. Then restart the growthcoin wallet and wait for it to fully sync. After it syncs all the blocks shut it down and add your wallet.dat file from your backup and restart. Its a pain in the ass but it is the only way that would fix my wallet not syncing.

Today is the 3° times I have to restore the old blockchain in pool as while running, growthcoind is still active but not responde anymore to RPC command (and always when growthcoind is stopperd in pool, index get corrupted).
Actually it is the unique coin that run in pool that has index corrupted systematically at every clean shoutdown.
maybe it depends from index size (actually index is bigger that the blockchain data file)?
