Now I havent been as active as usual because I just got finished setting up (22) L3+ miners. By overclocking im running close to 12 Ghs. So one of the jackpots could be 24 hours of 12Ghs of scrypt mining on any scypt coin you want, as a added bonus. This would only apply to masternodes that hit 100x maybe. Just ideas.

This sounds like an interesting idea and could work well. Masternode holders like incentives to continue to hold their nodes, the reward is good however with the price being low it doesn't seem like we earn that much so this idea I think can work and get more people running a VGS node.
So being Las Vegas coin, we need a Jackpot system. We have a mere 400,000 total coins and about 25% of them are locked with MN. There is a proven safe system called "superblocks" from a coin called "fly coin" , I released in 2015. No one was able to cheat the system for over 2 years. Anyway, here is a proposed schedule of what we will call "jackblocks".
Multiplier of 2x = 5% Chance.
Multiplier of 3x = 2.5% Chance.
Multiplier of 5x = 1% Chance.
Multiplier of 10x = 0.5% Chance.
Multiplier of 20x = .25% Chance.
Multiplier of 50x = .01%Chance.
Multiplier of 100x = 0.001% Chance.
The way this would work is the block reward would be the multiplier. So, the current block reward is 2.5 VGS. As it stands .5 VGS goes to the staker, and 2 VGS to the masternode.
So masternode holders would get 2 VGS X the multiplier, and stakers would get .5 VGS X the multiplier.
These are just rough numbers. I will post a poll.
So again please keep in mind these are just ideas.

Hmm, this seems to be a good idea and will most likely attract more people to joining VGS. I think a poll is a good idea to see what the community thinks of the proposed idea. Also we need a poll on the maximum amount of VGS there will be as I still get questions about this and I can't answer them as there hasn't been an official statement about this.

Yes I agree, VGS needs a good mix of stakers and masternodes. In recent weeks we have seen masternodes increase and also the staking difficulty but to attract more people staking maybe the reward for people staking can increase a little then over time it can decrease for both PoS and masternodes like most coins do.
I was hoping to have a nice balance between stakers and masternodes. Its good to see so many coins locked.

This was my thought. If your familiar with superblocks from flycoin, we could implement this for everyone. However, the masternodes would get 4x the rewards. Should I create a poll for this? The supply is still VERY low, so we have lots of room to stretch the coin supply without inflation issues.

I prefer to have a few VPS set up to run multiple masternodes as its easier and it doesn't cost all that much as just a week earning MN rewards from just one coin will cover the costs for the whole month for all the VPS set up. Of course it depends on the MN coins and price however it is more then likely that the costs will be covered in the first week.
Sure.VPS will help to save power cost and is one of the best options for someone who would like to operate multi masternodes simultaneously.

I have noticed that there are a lot more VGS masternodes online now currently at 70 when a few weeks ago it was under 50. It is good to see however we need more exposure and more people knowing about VGS. Also have far along is the website to being complete? There hasn't been much news in here for a while now so I hope that means the dev team is busy working on something.

i only have this coin running as masternode
and it s not worth doing a lot masternode because there is no market, should maybe try to get it listed on more exchange otherwise it s going to 3 digit
in 2016 i had 2 computers to run pos coins, computers where full load, but now only have 3 wallets running left
this one is one of the ones i did not sell, wasn't worth to sell , if i remember i paid 200 fly at 125000sat on yobit wasn't planing to sell it at less than 5000 but must say one sat is worth more now, and stake a lot to 1000
i had lot dmd's but made some mistake sell on downtrend to buy it back later but i miss it
and now i could get in again but actually i think i won't, i prefer hold some more dgb's

to run multiple masternodes on same IP u need to use onion hidden services
the DMD Diamond masternode guides show how this can be configured
without onion u need a different static IP for each masternode
but this days VPS with 2gb ram can be orders below 3$ a month so just get as many as u plan to run masternodes

ok that explain why i don't see more masternode on same ip
but i use the same external ip but an wallet on different pc, i test with 3 masternode now, even 2 are with port close they working all 3
it s just not working when in the same wallet
and i have dynamic ip, it change at lease once a week, i notice the 1st i started still show up on the old ip
in add node i put the local ips of each computer so all wallet can connect each other in local but not sure if it s work, i never see an local ip in the conencted pair list

so i tryed again for multiple master node

i m trying to start 2nd masternode in same wallet but it start then failed active time stay at 0
i reverse the private key between them, then the 2nd start but not the first

Possibly wrong tx index or id - check these values in your masternode.conf
i think it was correct, i past lot of time without succes i deleted and try again but second goot trouble
so i started an other wallet on an other computer for now
