Not sure at this point what the most recent blockchain is, a bit afraid to reset mine to zero. Client database folder has only three blockchain files, the latest dated October 2015, no new blocks since then.

I tried that. It says no block source available.
Also I don't know much about these things.

I really am a noob so I might be doing something fundamentally wrong.
Do you know where to find your fckbankscoin.conf file ? If yes, you should be able to add the line as mentioned in my previous message, if there is no fckbankscoin.conf file yet you can create one by using any plain text editor.Also I don't know much about these things.

That should work, you could try opening the console window, also under help->console and then enter:
addnode 84.29.56.160 add
(press enter to confirm after the above command)
and make sure p2p port 21779 is not being blocked by your firewall
