Well i think yeah, people will panic after seeing all red these few days, both btc and alts. It can't be helped. A lot just got in because of the hype and were already anxious when btc stayed at 11-13k usd for a while. Imagine their horror seeing the price below 9k. These people haven't even experienced yet the price at 5digits until now.

I just hope that you really keep on holding your Bitcoin and buy more because this ultimate corrections is the most brutal in which some of the altcoins will be crap or will become no value at all. Fortunately, our Bitcoin is not that weak that we could sustain this corrections specially if we hold on together so lets keep the faith and don't lose hope.

Why bitcoin over alt coins? Especially considering the transaction and scaling problems of bitcoin.

It's all down to the infrastructure and scaling it to the number of users

- Trading
- ICOs

I don't think BTC is scalable especially because of the limited size in the block. This has always been one outstanding challenge for this particular cryptocurrency. However, it's infrastructure and usage as a store of value will continue to provide insight into how other cryptocurrencies emerging as alternate stores of value will operate.

Good thinking. Seems that it is on correction and price will be increasing rapidly but it needs some time to overcome this dip. I believe in bitcoin that it will survive. If more and more people join with btc then price will be rising. So don't be worried about the price of bitcoin.

Panic selling will only regret in the future, so it's better to stay hodl when dumping happens. No one advises to sell when dump, because if you keep selling when dump happens you will lose valuable profits on the investment you have done. So keep hodl until the price back increases then sell to get a good profit.

Seriously, the bitcoin price now is really horrible and alarming, but still i want to hold my bitcoin. Instead of panic selling, i used this price drop an opportunity to have some of it rather, to gain more profits in the future. Because it's surely pump higher than what they expected.

Bitcoin is on a downward spiral and it hit below $10K. I'm also with you as far as February goes, I hope that its the month that bitcoin will going to recover. Sadly, we hit another bad news today and as a result bitcoin goes down again.

We really need to be mentally tough is this kind of challenges. We all have plans what price are we going to sell and take the profits, But its a bit frustrating to see it goes down today below $10K.

You're not selling your Bitcoin? Good choice. You're not selling your altcoins? Horrible choice. Altcoins are pumped up badly as we speak, and that was mainly due to the fact that Bitcoin made room for altcoins to grow by taking a step or two back. As soon as Bitcoin jumps up, altcoins will start tanking again, where we also have to take the possible effect of Lightning Network on the altcoin market into consideration. With LN on board, people now sitting in altcoins due to Bitcoin's incompetence will flow back into Bitcoin, causing the altcoin market to bleed badly. In other words, use the current pumped up altcoin prices to convert them to Bitcoin, which basically means that you're getting more bang for your buck.

The whales are really doing a good job of making a lot of newbies panic which if they did their research pretty well, they sholdn't. I still believe what we are having presently is manipulations just to shed off noobs from the system for the benefit of some that we already know who they are. Anyone who is willing to dash them the little they have now out of panic will end up making the worst mistake of their life in the long run. It is even getting crazier as a lot of FUD is going on regarding how USDT was produced and used to manipulate bitcoin's value. I hope that is not true though but which ever way, HODLing all the same.

I like that kind of situation on the market. Bitcoin stable. This is evidenced by the fact that the price of bitcoin is real. It will not fall below. Every time we saw the panic after the fall in prices. Now users have become smarter. They don't sell massively coins in a period of falling prices. Bitcoin shows great prospect for further growth. Waiting for a sharp rise in prices.

Honestly, the problem that many users of cryptocurrencies are afraid because of this sudden fall in price and unfortunately ,some of them believe that this is the end of Bitcoin . For me , all these bad ideas are incorrect and it is sure that this duration is a good opportunity to buy and hold an important value of Bitcoin.

In addition to that, everything will change for the better because this fall in price is temporary and believe that Bitcoin will return better than the above and I guess that the price will be more than 25k after some problems are resolved and I advise everyone to invest in Bitcoin because the profit will be important in the coming period.

We better hold out Bitcoin since if we will based on its oast marjet statistics, it is really potent to have a bright future and expensive market value so holding will be a total advantage. That is what almost most of us are doing right now, although the price was stuck at $10k I still not find bitcoin as a crashed coin, I am still a fan of this and nothing would ever change to that no matter what, so for all of us who are believer of this one, we should be thankful and continue to patronage this so that it will be with us until the end.

You are absolutely right all we need to do is waiting until the bitcoin price pump agian to gain profit, I am sure that the sellers of their bitcoin currency will regret because of the fact that they were panic when suddenly the price collapse.

Because indeed there are some good news about bitcoin nowadays and maybe next month it will rise gradually which is there some big company trailing to accept bitcoin , so there's possibility that the valued will increase on feb , just hold and wait for the right time to sell , or read some positive news around the internet while the price didn't start to rise in order to remove your doubts .

We'll just need to monitor closely every updates on bitcoin price as well, so that we won't miss the opportunity when bitcoin surges back again to its progressive price increase. The possibility with how February will generate good demands in the btc market, then everybody should be able to appreciate the potential of its good price to show off towards development for the next following months.
