Rolling  io's campaign payment is mentioned as post/month instead of fixed.
If true, 0.12BTC/post for a hero member... people will start quitting jobs.  Grin
Oh shit, thanks for telling me. Updated the table!

Rollin's deal is essentially closed to all membergroups apart from two Full Member slots left. Maybe you should add a strikethough to the table info when this happens.
I won't be doing that, because if I do it for one campaign, I need to do it for all of them and it takes way too much time to check all of them every day.

Whether it's a huge risk or not is up to you, but he's only guaranteed the 5btc, and if he doesn't pay out for whatever reason those funds will be used to reimburse people, but they might not get what they were owed. I'm sure this wont happen but you never know.
That is a possibility. Next week DiceBitco.in and I are going to look at the members status to see if more money needs to be escrowed. And isn't it better to get some money, then nothing at all?

Well, for a maximum of 100 participants, and lets say, 300 posts per participant at an average pay rate of a Full Member (0.0007 btc), that only comes to about 21 btc you need to get DiceBitco.in to escrow, in order to ensure everyone gets paid. Cheesy

8BTC in escrow would be a start, it is far from 100participants @ 300posts/participant!

No, it requires about 21 BTC paid BY DICEBITCO.IN to make sure everyone gets paid.

If he was gonna scam you, why would he have escrowed 5 BTC?
That'd be a loss loss situation for him, losing the 5 BTC, and losing
all his and his sites reputation.

Because alot of talk goes around that, and we totally understand where it comes from(end of the day, its YOUR BTCs that you wont get if we were to fuck this up), let me say 2 things:
a) We didnt arrive from outer space, few days ago. We run www.DiceLiteco.in forthe past 5+months, site has generated a profit of around 9k LTCs till today.
b) We have shown proof of funds, by signing our 200 BTC / Cold Wallet
c) NOT paying/screwing up our sig campaign is equal to shoot ourselves on the foot. Reputation is everything : getting a bad reputation on the biggest BTC forum, how that would reflect in our dice game? it would destroy us completely.
d) As discussed with bitcoininformation as well, we need to see/estimate how much this will cost. If we find it necessary, we would escrow more funds.

Regards!

Of course, but that doesn't mean this is without risk nor is it a guarantee that you will be paid, but I'm sure everyone knows the risks with these deals by now.

Honestly I don't think leaving for Dicebitcoin is much of a risk as long as the funds are in escrow.  Sure after the first payment if that OP doesn't want to do escrow again then YES that becomes a big risk as it's the first time they're doing it without escrow.  It's like how updown paid weekly no problems and then they went monthly and paid everyone late and it was a hassle to get paid.  Don't totally drop your guard just because an entity pays for one month.

I'm glad I waiting out Primedice for DiceBitco.in.  Finally something that was close to FXO.

What do you mean? I'm really surprised people are actually jumping ship just for that little bit extra. I'd rather stick with a time and tested deal at least for a month before moving over. I know the guy has put some money in escrow but 5 bitcoins wont last long and there could still be problems with payments etc.

I and others had the same concern, but as bitcoininformation explained just a few posts back, they will evaluate how much more might be needed in a week's time, and increase the amount in escrow if necessary. Provided some care is given to updating it whenever needed, I see little reason to worry about it - and it's a 20% increase in rates (give or take), which is a nice incentive. Smiley

For people involved in primedice, doing the switch now means they lose the posts they made from 17th to now. So for most of them, it is not a good time to switch. A best time to switch is after the payment (about the 19th), removing signature before payment is dangerous.

I think on the 19th of August, dicebitcoin campaign will be full, so it is a sort of dilemna. Loose now and subscribe to win more in the future, or stay in primedice for security.
