why not just start your own overview thread?

simply, because it could be included here, AFTER the others

this one for example pays in it's own coin: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-dolp-dolphincoin-the-first-decentralized-angel-investing-blockchain-625466

I may write code in exchange for bitcoins.
Ok, to the folks who say "money is money".  I understand your argument.  However, for many of these altcoins they aren't really money.  Or the value of them is a money is so speculative that it's hard to say with any confidence whether or not they are money.  Anyway.  I guess I wonder whether this is all abstract or whether there actually is some campaign that's paying in altcoins.

If there is some campaign that's paying in altcoins, and for those that really really want to see those listed, why not just start your own overview thread?  You can advertize it as the 'all inclusive non-discriminatory' overview thread.  If your thread ends up more popular than this one, then viola, you were right!

Updates regarding the Campaign, all BTC payments will be shutdown.

Coinsource are ceasing BTC payments so should be removed (or an alt coin section created  Wink).
Thanks, I have removed them from the OP. I won't create an Altcoin section, because this is a Bitcoin related forum. Altcoins are tolerated, but I won't add them to this overview, since I don't really like them. If there was a LTC campaign I might add them, but that's all Tongue

Paid in BTC or paid in the anycoin?

If it's paid in BTC then it belongs here, if it's paid in the altcoin then it doesn't (IMO).
I would say that as long as the campaign is paying for posting on these forums it would belong here regardless of how they pay you. Even if a campaign were to pay in say LTC users could easily have the payment address be sent to an exchange and have the coins be automatically converted to BTC.

agreed, also, why should it matter? money is money, and the topic is "signature-ad campains"......i for myself sell my signature for the campain which pays most

Learning the troll avoidance button :)
Who was running the Fastbluff campaign? Is it one of the regular campaign runners that we see around here posting under a new user name or was it a Fastbluff employee?

The Fastbluff campaign is run by the account Fastbluff (https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/fastbluff-271952) which I assume is either a staff or a owner of the site.

I believe fastbluff was the campaign manager the one in charge of it was Gweedo

If it was convertible to Bitcoin at a competitive rate in the end against BTC Wink

Of those  darkcoin, XC, Litecoin, NXT and maybe Blackcoin would be able to offer an equivalent rate without crashing their exchange rates but that topic won't be brought into discussion unless something that actually could compete with a Bitcoin sig campaign factoring the convertible factor is included so it's all theory for now.

I think it's a wise move.  I second the motion!

If a bunch of paid altcoin signature campaigns arise, and someone actually signs up for them, let those folks make their own overview thread.  I'm sure someone in their community could happily do it.

I think removing is good idea because we are here for only BTC not for alt coins

Hello all,

I bought myself an Internet Stick with a 1,5GB data packet, so I can come and checkout this campaign once in a while. I have removed both FXOpen and FastBluff from the list. FXOpen because they closed, FastBluff because they will be closing after this weeks payment. It sucks to see you guys go, never had any problems with them.

So Fastbluff are cancelling their campaign because someone complained? Doesn't seem right.

And the Anonymity deal is closed to all but Hero Members now.

Well guess I'm scratching fastbluff off Bitcoininformation will be surprised to see this one.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.7979904

This is our last signature campaign week, you all can blame Sed, we are going to just use traditional ads, we were enjoying this until the trolls showed up. Gweedo will be making an announcement tomorrow as he is really the one that pulled the plug on this!

That seems like an awfully disproportionate response, for what I assume was a simple misunderstanding. Oh well, I guess that's why people often hire someone else to do this for them. Roll Eyes

Yah, kinda surprising.  However I suppose it reveals that there were many other issues just below the surface.  I mean, the guy was ready to drop a nuclear bomb over the fact that I wanted him to pay me for 6 posts (which I made with his signature) and he was refusing to pay.  Obviously there's more here than meets the eye.

EDIT: the site is now down too, weird.

The site has never been down, please don't spread false information!

You're kinda cracking me up with the "false information" thing.  This is what I get from curl:

Code:
sed@citrus:~$ curl https://fastbluff.com -D -
HTTP/1.0 500 Internal Server Error

When I look at it in firefox, I see just a blank page.
