0.012 what?

BTC or USD?

1.2 USD cent for an avatar seems very low
Probably in bitcoins. Their old rates were 0.02 per month.

Where are the guys who were telling us that this is bitcoin forum and not usdforum ??

Why didn't the rates changed when the price was much more cheaper than now? Confused.

I propose a new solution, you can use one of those USD to BTC instant picture embedding services, or if thats not viable go with the double asterix , posting USD prices on a BTC forum is ridiculous IMO .

Indeed it isn't ideal, but here it's a decision of whether to go for ideology here versus accuracy. While I understand it's a Bitcoin forum, if they aren't paying in Bitcoin...

If you really want to, it might be worth making a separate table for signature campaigns which pay out based on USD if more of them come out.
I rather have one thread to rule them all and accuracy, so if needed, I'll let go of my ideology and just add dollars to the table.
while i do support your sentiment on having strictly bitcoin prices listed on there, fact remains that this table is a helpful resource for others. instead of having a possibly confusing ** listed in the table, it would be much more helpful to have the USD values listed, and maybe have a note below in the description section that the payouts will be converted to bitcoin based on the price at time of payout.
or, this price fluctuation may come to pass within a week and they might have new stable rates, and this discussion might be pointless. who knows.

In my opinion I think it'll be nice to have it under extra information. So I voted **.
Just because the reason of they aren't paying in bitcoin, rather in USD.

I don't see why you need to have a live Bitcoin counter for that, it seems like it's quite inaccurate if it's presented and rounded like that. Just say $0.30 for staff, for instance, or 30¢, or $.30...etc. There's no problem with putting USD as an amount in the table if that's what the signature campaign pays in.
Well, I rather not have dollar values in my table, because we are a Bitcoin forum, not a Dollar forum. Anyway, I've created a quick StrawPoll with some possible opties. I'll use whatever gets a majority of votes.

Hmmm, well it isn't even near how bad I thought it would be, but as the payout isn't fixed they still should be marked as **. Agreed?

I can't accepted that in my overview table. It will fuck up the whole design and made it unnecessarily wide (and it's already really wide). I would go with the ** as special conditions do apply to this campaign (aka. payout pegged to USD instead of Bitcoin).
