some different speculations will surely start coming from everyone, but for me personally ethereum could have touched the price of $ 1500 by the end of this year as long as bitcoin also continued to show its increase. although currently the market is still not really stable but no one knows what will happen to the market in the future.
If Ethereum maintains the number one spot as a decentralized application (dapp) platform, the increase in value of the overall cryptocurrency market alone will bring it to that price.
I have no reason to believe that Ethereum won’t stay the preferred platform for dapps and ICOs. The network has one of the largest development communities and they seem to have a clear plan to address scalability issues.
The only thing that I could see stopping Ethereum hitting that price this year is if it’s deemed a security by the SEC. Even then, I would bet that it would still hit $1500

I've never really been attracted to Ethereum, but this point deserves some recognition. Of all the alt blockchains trying to do something different, at least Ethereum promoted dapps and smart contracts. Not that Bitcoin couldn't do smart contracts but now almost everyone knows how to do basic smart contracting on Ethereum.
I hold some Ether, very late entrant, but I do see its value going up slowly, as it develops and more mature dapps come onto it. It's still the best, minus scaling issues and centralization of leadership.
If I judge the eth will rise by the end of the year probably not, because now the current market price is getting worse, but I do not really care about it
I am sure ethereum will rise before the end of this year but not sure if it will reach $1500 this year considering the current market condition and there is also less demand for altcoin. But I am sure if the market recover from the bear and there is high demand, the price of ethereum will rise up to $800 or $1000 before the end of the year.

I think the etherum will cost 5000 dollars until the end of this year. this is not impossible. Maybe it sounds funny to you. But a good uptrend provides this.
how do you know?, or its just your personal opinion or what? im just asking you, but i hope it will happen, because nothing is more fun then seeing your assets grow.
It will depend on how the uptrend would provide regarding of which price it will grow. Most of us want it to reach above 1,500 and I hope it will. I just don't like the fact that the so called analysts keeps on saying that the price would go like this and like that but in reality they are not facts just pure prediction.

I am tired of people saying that an expert is predicting that the price of ETH is going to reach a very high price, things are not so simple, maybe it could happen but the truth is that things are not going to be that easy, all of this is going to depend on if the price of bitcoin recovers significantly and that right now depends on whether or not the bitcoin ETF is approved.

It seems to me that if this year the bulls finally take the market,the price of Ethereum will be able to grow to $ 1500. I am looking forward to it and it seems to me that we have all the chances to see such growth this year.

This is a very real price for the ether in this year. This year was full of surprises for everyone. The fact that now the price of ether is kept low enough, it is just an occasion to reflect on the fact that the consolidation of forces is now. And most likely very soon the price will rise. So I would not says like you do about price of $ 1500.

If bitcoin hits over 20.000usd by the end of this year its 90% that ethereum will hit 2000usd.

i dont think eth can reach 1500$ this year
but in 2017 it touched 1000$ on bull market and nowdays most platform is running on erc20 and ethereum is part of it so it can reach 1500 in next year

ETH rates are likely to fall after receiving negative news from the SEC. I predict that ETH's exchange rate may drop to $ 300 and by the end of the year it will rise to $ 1,000. But to reach $ 1,500 is difficult because the 2018 exchange rate of the cryptocurrency market is very volatile.
Being volatile is very natural,sometimes uo and sometimes up it is normal on the market and there is a possibility to eth to reach 1500 USD butbi didn't say eth will reach that amount this year .it is just my opinion because in crypto anything can happen to the price.

The most likely answer to that is a no, I know that people are hopeful thanks to the recent increase in the price of bitcoin and other altcoins but I do not think things are going to be this simple, the last time we had a crash this big it took us years to recover and while some are predicting a full recovery before the year ends that will be simply too convenient and too easy, that is why I do not believe it will happen.
I don't think ETH can rise to $1200 at the end of the year. I have observed that in the recent bitcoin rise, Ethereum did not have much rise, and there were signs of a decline in certain periods!
It is possible that ETH has become lonely in the upward trend of the market over time. But I still believe that ETH can grow in the future. And that is the main reason, I will continue to hold the ETH. Personally I do not think ETH gets 1k5 - 2k this year. But I believe ETH will surpass its April price ($ 820)

I think the market is at the right stage where you can get big profits by taking ETH. I think it will be similar to the end of last year. It will even exceed the expectations of many who believe in this project. $2000 is my opinion.
