Bitcoin gambling is growing due to a few factors.
Transaction time is quite fast and users do not need to vertify themselves to gamble in bitcoin unlike in fiat.

Agreed, the old days of having to find some way to get your money transferred to malta or wherever was a pain. Bitcoin makes it much easier... people still don't trust online gambling though. I think it will always be a niche and not much more than that when compared to vegas or whatever but I think it makes it more accessible.

I'm surprised paying for porn in Bitcoin hasn't really taken off.

Or maybe just no one pays for porn these days  Grin

Well, bitcoin is just getting started. So everything that uses bitcoin is also just getting started. I can even operate a gambling game without a site (satoshidice only needed to publish it's betting addresses). But then off-chain games are the future (just like all regular non-bitcoin casinos).

The only difference between bitcoin and fiat casinos are the implementations of provably fair and independent audits.

Venturing in an online gambling site will be a big pain in the head. Dealing with a lot of people who doesnt care about you and your site.

Because it can just as easily go unchecked..any business owner in the states or other country can just register the site to a different user living in a region where they don't have to pay tax and then run it. Tax evasion and many other things can arise from online gambling.

Not sure if this is the case.  So many gambling sites might be inflating the situation.

When we started our site we feared that the gambling scene may be overcrowded.
I believe that if you offer a nice game and good odds for your players there is still space for newcomers.
just wondering are any gambling sites hosted from the US, or are they all overseas.
I think think gambling sites are illegal in the US

If it is, what will the government do if they can prove that a certain gambling site is based in the US?

I'm not sure if bitcoin gambling is in law terms gambling.
