I spent a lot of time here in last few moths and I have never feel a need to register here or post something. I'm not good in writing anyway. But today I have found an auction on this forum I would like to participate. But I cant as I have to write another 4 useless posts before I can put my bid...

Well if you read what I wrote right above your post, you could have PMed me and asked to be whitelisted to post in an auction.  Or you could just PM the person running it and ask them to put in a bid for you (probably the better option).

Thank you, I already wrote some posts. But anyway I appreciate your attitude.

Yep, read through that posting already...I am guessing that I need to do the four hours/five post before I can do anything regarding Devtome.  I did create an account over there already, but can't post anything yet

If you have something new to post about it, write up the post and PM me with a link and I'll whitelist you/move the post if it looks good.  Otherwise go for the 5 posts/4 hours till you can post outside, or you could PM people if you have something specific to say to them.

Read the Newbie section...thanks for the great info.  Curious about the writing for Devcoins...who do I talk to about that?

Check out https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/devcoin-34586 it seems to be the main thread on Devcoins.

Can I be whitelisted/actiated before my 4 hours are gone, I have 6 posts and almost 2 hours on board, and I'd like to be able to participate in the trading forum here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=8.0

Just keep reading for now, you'll get to 4 hours quick enough.

Is the whitelist thread still active at all? I mean does anyone read those requests and possibly whitelist their authors?

I'm not sure about the other mods, but I don't go through the whitelist request too much.  Most people in there just make a post or two then request whitelisting.

Or not.. ?

Stickying a bitinstant support thread can be easily seen as an endorsement of BitInstant. With all the delays and issues they have being having.. It's unfair to other bitcoin services too, and is somewhat useless to people outside of the united states (since they can only trade vouchers).

I'm sure that a forum thread is not the most efficient way of handling support, but why wouldn't bitinstant want the free advertising? And every time someone has an issue, it actually bumps the thread.

Why is Bitinstant a sticky?

I was thinking about removing it, but I see a lot of newbies coming here to post about it still... though now that I think about it I'm going to unsticky it.
