If you are already a bitcoin trader and has experience in bitcoin, of course you are willing to sell a real estate for bitcoin. In my own personal interest, I would like to sell it, because it will only need a short period of time, once it has a buyer the only transaction need is to pay via bitcoin wallet. and that's it you have a bitcoin and its all your decision to make if what you would like to do, withdraw it or use it for investment. It's pretty good for a bitcoin user.

Latvia has become the first country that started selling its real estate for Bitcoins. The huge apartment, which costs 1,5 million Euro is now offered for 399 BTC.

Will you sell your house or flat for cryptocurrency? Why?
I think this is something recent breakthrough from latvia country to introduce bitcoin further into the community. I'd like to sell the house for kryptocurrency as long as it's all clear and in line with the price we want.

selling house for bitcoin is really risky, blockchain technology is the future, but bitcoin price we can never know
No success without risks, this is what i believe, when bitcoin was introduced no one was ready to accept it, only some courageous dare to buy to bitcoin and now they are millionaires and billionaires. All what required is to be hopeful and be faithful about your investment, it is risky to sell your house for bitcoin but what if in future it become the most worthy and accepted currency then we will even regret our current situation

I think there have been countries before Latvia that has been selling real state already.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/property/buy/bra-tycoon-michelle-mone-selling-192m-dubai-apartments-bitcoin/

https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/4467612/posh-1-7-million-house-in-south-london-becomes-uk-first-to-be-offered-for-digital-bitcoin-currency/

But I guess this will be the new trend now. Real state are being sold of bitcoin. And I consider this a positive thing for bitcoin ecosystem as well. And its a cool idea for real state developers, specially who have already invested a lot on bitcoin and they it just a sort of promotion of it.

I think that this is a cool idea for the developer who sold the real estate in bitcoin he or she can make huge profit out of it. Imagine for selling this flat to the average people in terms of bitcoin, say a bitcoin cost 6K USD that will be nearly 2.4M USD maybe that is just the price of the apartment or could be less, they took into consideration that if the bitcoin dips they wont lose that much. On the other hand if bitcoin turns 8K or 10K USD that is a bigger profit.

its a good idea for sure, i wonder if the legal fees can be avoided
by selling and buying property in Bitcoin?

it wouldnt suit everyone though, if I sell my property i would need
to buy another and after finding a nice home what are the chances
someone will want Bitcoin for it?

anyway its a good idea and will become more popular as time goes on.

That's a good thing about digitalising the real estate.
Virtual real estate really existed in few places mainly at Dubai to my knowledge.
It's good to make a flow in all sectors a place for bitcoin that really gives a support for crypto in our digital economy.

There is nothing wrong with the transaction as long as it is legal in a country and the prices are equivalent to its fiat currency value then it will prosper. The downside here is the buyer will lose a lot of BTC 399 is a lot to lose but if they are looking to settle in and that is what they are looking for I don't see any problem to the deal. On my personal opinion I won't use that amound of BTC to buy a house as it is a waste of trading position for me.

From the point of seller's view this idea has both its pros and cons.

Actually selling real estate for BTC is transmission from conservative investment to aggressive one.

Your property for $4M will probably cost the same price in 10 years.

But 555BTC can both cost $80M and zero.

Also I believe that selling properties for ETH is much more promising with its smart contracts.

Sure, low commissions are the greatest benefit!

I have seen many such posts come up recently where they are selling real estate for Bitcoins. I would be open to selling it, one of the many reason is I could command a higher price than I would normally would have gotten if I would have sold it in the open market, plus say I sold for 1lakh dollars, add taxes on it which reduces my income, and they remain the same, in Bitcoins no taxes, plus it could increase to 2lakhs to. If one goes and sell in Zimbabwe almost double one can get, so it's a thump up for me, if one ask me to sell real estate for Bitcoins.

This is really going on and on in this thread for a while, and seeing this really makes me think that it is just usual and not a typical sight in seeing people buy real estate using bitcoin, and it is kind of usual right now, you can surely use even gold in a transaction if the person that have a transaction with you would allow it, so why not Bitcoin, and bitcoin has many ways in making it's way in the fields of transactions in many countries right now.

There is also a complex in London which is selling space for bitcoin and I am sure there was something in the US about someone buying a house for bitcoin, it seems it's a bit more common than you think.

There were a couple ICOs recently that focused on real estate and the crowd purchasing of properties, REAL was the token but I am not sure how they will get on as they raised a lot less than they hoped for but real estate is a great sector for crypto to enter.
