Don't fall for this kind of trap.
$1 is not that huge. They are probably waiting for you to send such huge amount. Then left you hanging afterwards. While they are tempting you to deposit more, it can be a scam so do not hesitate to leave the site immediately.

It's kinda suspicious. Doubling your money instantly where in fact they have no products to sell or even they aren't using the money for trading so what is the basis for your money to be doubled?

Hello, just sent 1$ and received 2$. Is a trick something or just a scam to make me send more and then run with my money?

https://telegra.ph/Steve-Wozniak-Foundation-5000-Bitcoin-Giveaway-Airdrop-05-11-2

"You can only participate once. If you try to participate more than once, your BTC will be automatically refunded. " => How they know how many times I can participate?

Send 0.1 BTC to receive 0.2 BTC back.

🔵 Send 0.5 BTC to receive 1.0 BTC back.

🔵 Send 1.0 BTC to receive 2.0 BTC back.

🔵 Send 5.0 BTC to receive 10.0 BTC back.

🔵 Send 10.0 BTC to receive 20.0 BTC back.

When you do see these kind of templates then better to have this on auto-ignore.
This is just simply a HYIP or doubler offering 100% instantly. Come to think on how
in the world they do get that money to pay out to those who deposited in? this is just ponzi nothing else.
I've seen this scheme before and before I knew it I already lost some of my money. Never fall for this kind of scheme because just like what @Mahanton said this is a pure HYIP once you try to drop some big amount the scammer would either make a reason that would make you wait like forever because it will never gonna happen what they are telling you. So stay away for this kind of schemes and stay safe.

There is nothing short from this than a scam. They make the money so miserable that anybody can afford,  imagine 500 people donating $2 each, that is just the idea. I had similar experience about a year ago.

Basically that's a clear case of scam giveaway, many have been trapped with this type of deceits from scammers when they will ask members of the giveaway to send some amount of money to activate their Blockchain address in order to receive the said giveaway. Even when many still understand their deceits, they Still pretty fall for their scams because of their greediness in life.

Recently, someone started a big giveaway on Facebook and many fell into their traps to send them their hard earned money because of their greediness, let us know that, there is no free giveaway in the world anymore, be contented with what you have in life.

Well the fact that you have to send a certain amount has already counter the giveaway program. This is the usual way of doubling money similar to ponzi and platform or anyone promising such can never be trusted amd i adviceyou stay away from such give away program because we've seen lot of them that end up running away with the contributed funds

I think that it works like a financial pyramid. The first participants make a profit, but when it becomes popular and accordingly profitable for scammers, then deception occurs. I do not confirm that these are scammers, but you should be careful with this.
You should be aware that there are a lot of user already who scammed by this trick, send money first in order to gain money more than we spend.

Here are some accusation that I took in scam accusation board
1. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/scam-alert-tesla-fake-giveaway-5221373
2. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/scam-coinbase-fake-giveaway-5208034

5. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/scam-youtube-channel-fake-giveaway-5243298

And many more you can check by yourself, just hoping you will say that is definitely scam.

Never ever do things like this.  There is no such thing as free money anywhere in the finance world.  Sure you've got air drops but these are from shit coins that have very little to no chance of ever making their coin worth a damn and catch on.  As someone who's spent over a decade working in the finance industry, I've come across countless "bonus" and "free" investments...they are always a scam or have a stipulation attached to them.  Not worth the risk.

No one will believe from a Account whos only post is luring clickers and putting others in danger of being a victim.

You have asked this but not come back to check the replies?this is a purely scam .

Hi, don't send any btc in that site for greed, you will lose your fund totally. I have lost my funds in this type of scam site before coming this forum. There is no easy way to earn free btc. They will pay you first small payment, and when you will send big amount, they won't pay you.
at least there is one here that speaks true and you are that person.

People are enough from this scammers .

Right my mate. I have practical experience in such sites before so it is my duty to warn another people so that they become aware and don't engage in any trap. We know many members are now very aware but some new members can fall into trap. I will say to invest in any exchange for trade like binance, kucoin etc but not in any hyip or such fake sites.

It is obvious that this is another fraud. They expect you to drop them $1k, which they will of course keep for themselves.

seeing from your account that is still a newbie, it seems you are not here to ask questions but to promote the link that you provide

Old tricks like this have fed up, and I saw fake giveaway steve Wozniak on YouTube, I reported on YouTube that it was a fraud
Wait a minute. You are right.

We've been telling this guy that what he's asking is a scam. He's also having the name of Steve Wozniak attached to his username as a staff and I've also seen those scam giveaways lately.

Probably, Op isn't serious, he's just giving exposure to his scam.

Old tricks used by scammers to deceive people who want more gifts.
No one will return your money twice as much, without doing anything.

The $1 profit that you get is just a stimulus that makes you send even more.

100% profit right now is just nonsense spread by con artists.
Only real work or real investment can never give 100% profit very easily.

Lol, this is fake and you are probably involved with this scam. You are posting here to promote this scam. Look at your username.

probable? he is definitely involved in the scam, look that his username is written stevewozniak_staff

that's why I posted this:

"You can only participate once. If you try to participate more than once, your BTC will be automatically refunded. " => How they know how many times I can participate?

we are facing a newbie scammer from the crypto world or we are facing a scammer who makes meaningless jokes

then why can't I see any transaction being made on that given address?

fortunately people are no longer as naive as in the past, little by little people open their eyes and don't fall for these scam

Gtfo with your scam.

one thing that bothers me is the fact that he created this thread and did not answer anything, it seems that he is some old member of this forum and knows how this forum works

It would be better if you did not risk your money on such sites. All this is very much like a banal pyramid, which will close as soon as its creators have enough money from these manipulations.
No one will give out money just like that in the crypto world, only in some shitcoins.

We've been destroyed by scam ICO in the past year and that was enough to ruin the image of crypto. I really don't think about your intention here but I ask you not to fooled people here. Because it is obvious that it was a trick and people are aware of such kind of play, and I believe that you can't be successful in what you did. Think about a good way to make money not by scamming.

I just highlighted some of his statement that obviously enticing newbies to atleast try it with a huge amount since this fake giveaway only cater one transaction only.
This newbie poster itself is a scammer, I hope nobody will ever try what he has posted, because this is clearly promoting a scam website by posting the link of the website here.
Just be smart to protect your investment out there people! Because these scammers are getting smarter too.

Just leave it or you'll be end up in lose all of your money.

You have to thinking that the legit project never ask you to spend money first when theu held a promotion or an airdrop.

They will have a budget to be spent and they will  be avoid some weird thing in order to their project is looked up as a legit project.
