im agree with the view that the reason why the market is falling down is that more often, cryptocurrencies usually go up and down in line with news events. As u may have already noticed, whenever there is news that some big financial player signs a partnership with a blockchain company, that crypto’s price goes up. Consequently, when negative news hits the papers, prices go down and today makes no exception...
Too many people lose money, and they do not see hope. As a result, people’s minds have gone and the market will naturally decline.
It can be in different reasons and right now they said that it's because of Mt. Gox that dumped their btc. And the worst scenario is not the fall because it's part of trading crypto. The worst scenario is a complete ban.
Of course, what is happening now scares many newcomers in the world of crypto-currency, I sometimes myself am willing to sell some tokens, but I believe that the market will work out the traffic again, like the previous 4 years, after the Chinese New Year.

For now BTC price is falling down and also alts r going down. This is normal scenario after holiday season and the reason why that market value r going down its because many coin holder r selling thier coin because they r worried about the down price of BTC. Of course they may lose their money if they dont sell it.
The logic of the crowd, the token has already grown tenfold - it's time to buy it. The token has fallen in price ten times - it's time to sell it. Never give in to panic, buy when everything is cheaper and sell when it becomes more expensive. Not the other way around!

Many reasons behind. Closing of trades, exchanges, rules on forbidding usage of crypto currencies, keep waiting to rotate the coins being held by individuals, closing of mining pools and etc causes altcoins prices fall to the ground.
