The only solution to solve that problem is time management. It doesn't matter how much money you are betting as long as you can control it, mainly because of time management since if you know how long you would just play, you will not be eager to spend too much when you lost. You have your time as your basis of your game not the situation that you are currently have, so for you to avoid being addicted, manage your time.

Same here. I don't treat gambling as a form of investment. But this may be the line of thinking of so many gamblers. They always make sure that they have a money to be spent on gambling because it might earn a return afterwards. That is of course the wrong approach in gambling. I am happy when I gamble and happier when I win. That is how I treat it. The winning is just a bonus of some sort.

That's supposed to be the right mindsets if you are not really into deeper engagement with this activities. Person who are occasionally gamble and only
take this for social life and having some fun with friends or relatives can stay happy. It's different story though if the engagement been done for the sake of earning money, the chances of getting addicted is very high.

I don’t think that gambling makes our character bad as we are gambling to earn money and there is nothing bad in it. In my family some people don’t like gambling but they should not hate a gambler. I gamble and it makes me happy so it will be my choice either I gamble or not. Gambling gives me earning and also helps me to live happy enjoyable time.

But the greediness we had makes it bad.

Humans are so damn greedy and that is the more reason why a lot of people are getting addicted to gambling. They are saying they are having fun, it is true but they are having fun and at the same time, hoping that they could earn soms good money out of their bets. It is impossible for someone to hope they can't win and just have fun because deep inside you, you are hoping you can win.

These are mostly the poor gamblers. Most of those who are playing gambling with crossed fingers that they will be given the chance to win are gamblers that are not rich enough to just forget their losses. The rich gamblers are placing chips worth hundreds and hundreds of USD as if they are just nothing. I envy them. They are rolling slots as if they don't care about their money. They look lonely.

You all make a good point but every individual have different reason for gambling despite they know the chance of winning is 1% and having control of ones buzz with the inclusion of having another thing to do won't be the thing to prohibit gamblers from losing money because some gambler days are incomplete if they didn't gamble in a day but that doesn't mean they can't control their buzz.
With that been said, i gamble once in a while and do it just to try my chance.

Sometimes I am confused to know about why they still playing gambling with the small chance to win. But then I realize that they don't mind to know how big their percentage to win because they can have fun in gambling, they can play in any gambling games, and perhaps, they can win the winning money. That will be bonus money if we can win the games, but we don't have to expect that thing because that will attract us to play for a long time. It is okay to test our luck because we never know when our luck will comes, but we should remember to control ourselves.

Those who simply gamble for money are the ones who really suffer from severe consequences of greed and addiction. As you said we need to understand the real motives we have behind gambling. If we are gambling simply to make money then we need to reconsider our aims because gambling is not the most appropriate means of making money. This game though involves money but shall not be played for money.

Personally, before I used to play gambling because I want to earn profit in the easiest way as possible, however, it never turns out to what I expected that is why I stop using gambling as a source of income. I realize that whatever strategy I made just to win it all doesn't work, there are times it did work but as the gameplay goes on I run out of luck and lose it all. Hence, I learned from that mistake and use it to entertain my self and not expect to get any profit.

For some people gambling is entertainment.. but not for me. i gambled just to get money, that's all. I spend time analyzing and playing just to make sure that I can get profit from the money I deposit.. But besides that, I still invest some of my money into crypto and stocks, because the investment is far more important than gambling. Cheesy

It's more of a personal matter so it's up to me to whom I'll tell that I'm into it. I'm not afraid of it since I'm a known gambler by my parents even before the crypto has pumped it's popularity.

Almost the same situation as mine.

I seldom gamble and when I gamble, I usually use a small amount of money because I have a mindset when it comes to gambling that I will lose in the end so to prevent losing too much money I gamble a small amount only. My reason to gamble?? Profit is my primary and the second one is having more excitement while watching sports events.

But the basic instinct of us is to automatically show off our charities to get praise and hide gambling to not get frowned upon. I guess if we reveal our gambling habits, it will help us further to not gamble or to form a controllable habit
