Having fun in the gambling game is different than the other activities. Maybe we can say that enjoy the gambling game is one thing that includes in the fun itself. But of course, the other people will say that enjoy the gambling is not part of the fun especially if we are losing money because we will be sad in that time and we cannot get that fun. Yes. Online gambling is not as fun as physical gambling because of many obvious reasons. In online gambling, there's a high probability that you'll get cheated by someone, or experience hacks, while with physical gambling, that's somewhat unlikely to happen. When you go to a real casino or gambling site, you'd get the real experience with real people, whereas with online gambling you just sit down on your computer and place your bets without interacting with anyone in real life. Even with integrated chat, and all the likes, the experience in online gambling is never compared to real life gambling.
Perhaps in the future, the online gambling experience would become improved to a point where you would be able to gamble in some sort of Virtual Reality with the ability to see other players' avatars and interact with them. Then with voice inputs, you could easily chat with your friends while you gamble. This would simulate the real gambling experience, as technology improves over time, making the need to go to physical locations completely unnecessary.
As well as you do, I have the same experience, and I think many gamblers would agree, since online gambling and real life gambling are two completely different worlds.

Long term gambling does not always mean addiction. Addiction should not be depending on how long you have been involved but it depends on how are you deal with it. I've been involved in gambling more than 10 years, indeed I have to admit that I was addicted to it on my first year as I could not control myself. But after that I could manage/control myself, I know when to start and when to stop so I do not think it is an addiction as it was.
Anything with which you cannot live for couple of months then it is a sign that you are addicted to it. If it is positive thing and help you in your personal life then it is good but if it can cause harm or like lose your money then it is a huge worry .

We all have different perspective in life. Maybe, some is happy doing what they want even in online gambling which is fun for them but not for us. I am not totally engaged in an online gambling but I am sure of myself that it is fun and addictive if we have no control over our emotions.
If you just wan to gamble for fun, you should never play online gambling, because online gambling is just a waste of time and money and there is no fun in online gambling. To enjoy gambling visit a regular casino and enjoy the whole night but never accede your gambling limits. Casinos are the permanent place for professional criminals.
It's possible to enjoy online poker or blackjack if you're playing with a live dealer and a table packed with other real people betting against one another. I'm not saying that if you do it you aren't in it for the money because you are but you can have some fun along the way. It's not like this is a job for you. It varies from people to people. There are lot of people who really enjoys gambling. I agree to the fact that, people lose their money on gambling. That happens when the greed overtakes their actions. The people who find it entertaining would only stick to a normal bankroll, the money they can afford to lose.

I am also searching for some fun in online gambling but still didn’t succeed, but I am sure with the passage of time I will catch fun and entertainment in online gambling. Till date people think that real fun is only in real casinos especially those who are not addicted to gambling, because they visit casinos for having fun and little bit gambling also.
I am curious though, so what do you enjoy? Online gambling is great for people who don't want to gamble personally. They can also abuse the anonymity of the online casinos or sites since not all of them don't want to be that known as a gambler. If you also want to use some of your crypto currencies, you can gamble online. I know that most of the gamblers pick casinos than online gambling sites but for me, I choose online gambling sites since I can gamble without really going on casino, call me lazy but I don't want to be a bad model.

If people do gambling excessively, it will be impossible for them to get pleasure. This applies also to other types of activities. Each person has their own way to enjoy life. And the fun that people out there offer, isn't free!
I dont how many of the addicted gamblers really gamble for pleasure. Rather they do it because they feel they have to earn back the money they lose. In fact if you see it this way - the gambler was in the hope of making big money and thus came to the casino. They lose some money but they were making some back and they still continue to do so. Then the red streaks start wiping out his balance and they cannot recover.I dont find how this becomes pleasureable. It becomes a source of pain and suffering at one time if they dont control themselves.
