We pay taxes because the federal, state, and municipal governments enact tax laws. That tax revenue pays for government services. The federal government collects about the same as the state and local governments combined.
Most of the times, the taxes that the people pay are sent to third world countries in the name of AID and the leaders there misuse the money there so i wonder the relevance of them sending the AID there in the first place whiles there things to be done in our very own country.
Business is the right way to earn back money. Instead of sending $2 billion aid, start a factory overseas with $2 billion. This will create jobs & production and the money sender will earn back the money from profits
Actually ! Actually... Actually often aid is aimed at killing local production, so the market will be free of local products.
For example, if you provide cheap or free butter to a country it will kill all local producers of butter.
Few years later you stop sending aid and your own butter producers begin accessing this market

Funny things like this makes someone thinks that the leaders are just spending the money as they seem it fit whether its impacting directly to the citizens or not. I wonder the amount of funds that would that would have been expended in the research and finding of energy in another planet that we all know we are not going whether now or in the future.However, to say all of the money used for all of this is only from taxes would be wrong. Government generate money from other sources through import and export sources. For countries that have advantages in certain commercial products tend to sell abroad for huge amount of money while those with the right amount of population tend to be import dependent and generate money on that. Tax is really not optional and by definition, its not commensurate to what you see as some expenditure would bring direct effect whereas others would bring indirect and long term benefits.
Income tax should not be more than 10%.
Taxation is theft. "But who will build the roads" argument is really old and dumb, people are not some stupid monkeys who can't figure out things if no one guides them, there's nothing that can not be done privately and through voluntary cooperation (which is the same as privately). Roads, military, science and so on - all of it can and is done privately around the world. Government is exactly why Bitcoin was invented - you can't trust people with power and believe that they will do as they've promised, and even well-meaning leaders do stupid mistakes that cost billions. Just like Bitcoin have decentralized economy, some day people will decentralize power to the point when every individual will be independent from others.
yeah thats why we need goverment and pay taxes. We do pay taxes for equality and to help each other. Cause not everyone as lucky as you. People that arguing about paying taxes is so dumb cause one way or another we need to build and make our live better and we do need someone to help it and how do you think we could contribute if not from taxes? 
It is just a recipe of chaos.
What's the difference between order and chaos? Philosophically speaking, they may differ in appearance but dig deeply - they're quite the same. Oh! You're going to search for its meaning, how convenient but I've already mentioned dig deeply. As obvious as it seems order sounds very positive, this is the part where they guide people or should I say ignorant sheep - and chaos is quite the opposite. But if you would do thorough research about this, you would probably understand what I'm pointing out.
To pay tax is both an obligation and a benefit. It is also mutual. We are oblige to pay tax being part of the community for our own protection, safety, enjoyment and development. The government also on their part have the duty to make laws for us to be protected and build infrastructure for our own development and enjoyment and to create more employment. If the taxes are only used wisely and correctly by the government then the community will really benefit from it and the country will really grow.
Many reasons why we should pay tax in our country, we pay taxes to pay the salaries of government employee like police, firefighter, public teachers and many more government officials, they also use tax money to maintain the beauty of the park, public market, roads and support the government program. That is why paying taxes is very important.
Yes that's why we pay taxes for that purposes but the main reason is it is government mandatory.We as a citezin are oblied to pay taxes wether we like it or not. It is our obligation to be follow because if not we will be on jail.
We pay taxes simply because it can help boost the economy, gather funds to build public office, buildings, establishments. It is very beneficial to pay taxes and everybody should pay it because its returns for our benefits rather those people who doesn't pay taxes so government should take strict action, so that's why everyone will pay taxes and country will more succeed.

To put it simple, people who do not want to pay taxes do not deserve to be in a community. This is because they are selfish and only care about themselves. They only want to enjoy the benefits of being able to use the things that are the result of the taxes of others for free. Clearly, paying taxes is every person's duty in his community, it is his obligation. If he doesn't want to pay taxes then he better get himself out of a community and go into the jungle and live alone.
I see it more towards my duty as a good citizen, if I do not care about the state tax then there will be uncontrolled greed because only focus for personal gain, I see the tax for development and I can also use it publicly, there is a return in a mutually beneficial way and will not make me lose it because it's also part of my charity against government development.

That's just a way / an effort to get and creates a well living place with joint system... Tax should not be supposed to be paid unless if you have extra money , but things has changed now we have been taxed for everything which it's make us annoyed and start thinking what the hell are they doing , we still live in a terrible place , corruption everywhere and nothing changed towards a better life quality. Hate it really , better to organize it in small scale , decentralized system might could help this matter. as well as in the application of crypto taxes, it also affects their recognition of the crypto business that we have been fighting for vigorously.
What happens if you are in a third world country and there is massive corruption? You pay taxes and there are no roads, schools, or any essential public utilities. What you do see is the politicians and their cronies getting richer. Would you still argue that everybody should continue paying taxes?
I think the next time you people needs to choose the right kind of government , or better stand up for the change , but at least do your part right .
You cannot expect the other party to be completely honest when you are not rightfully doing your duty.
Everyone wants to mock the dirty river but no one wants to get their hands dirty is the real deal with us , if we want better , if we want the corruption to end we need to do it ourselves and not wait for some miracle , doing our small bit and doing our duty are the two things that I consider is something that is the recipe for change .
Countries are corrupt the leaders are not right I completely understand but then it's rightfully in the hands of us to change it , if they are doing bad we cannot just reciprocate bad .
I would say choose a better government or get involved in government body , even if you change one person it will truly change the world but not paying taxes and simply saying no man they are wrong so even we can do wrong is not justified is what I think.
I was born under a dictatorship regime, and that government was in power, corruption was the norm for almost 30 years and it took the collaborative efforts of people around, (military, church officials, governments authorities who can't stomach it anymore, and ordinary people to topple the dictatorship. And even was jumping for joy that time and thought that the country was heading in the right direction. 30 years moving forward, the country is still the same, corruption everywhere. So I don't think that we can simply move out of the country, less its a choice but if you don't have the necessary funds to go out you will be stuck forever. Although the current government is doing its best to curb out corruption like increasing the salary of the policeman, there are a lot being tempted to accept bribe money. That's why you can't really blame someone doesn't want to pay their taxes because we know that it will just go to the pockets of corrupt government officials.
There's a lot of reasons that's why we should pay taxes.Governments taxation implemented is really good,if it will use enough for the country needs to develops. But,if those seated ranked personnel in the government are corrupts,people who pay their taxes will not be actually benifited of it.
