Yeah, totally legit "My friend works for ETH, trust me". Come on at least make up something more believable. Everyone likes ETH and wants the best for it to hit a new high but overhype like this won't work.
I am one of those investors of ethereum and I am on profit side as of now. But except ethereum I invested money in most other altcoins when the train had already left the platform i.e. when they were almost at the peak. All I saw after that was downfall and destruction of my whole portfolio. Till this date I regret my decision but I learnt something very important from it that is do not try to jump in a moving train as its only going to incur damage and nothing else. Always look at the current situation of the market rather than following the trend/hype and pouring the money without and technical analysis.
By considering all these, I guess OP must be doing a prefect thing to make some assured profits rather than struggling with other altcoins how I did in my most of the times in this crypto space.

the project team cannot predict price movements. it all depends on market conditions. it is possible only if Vitalik will endlessly buy Ethereum with his own money, then this is possible
They can still predict the trend of this market if they have a lot of experience. That is why professional traders always win in this market. Btw I also think that ETH will continue to grow in the near term, 600$ is ETH's target for September

Just saying "I have friend which from ...." not gonna make people believe you though I mean it will be better if you can give us concrete evidence. But, I can see why you people are optimistic about ETH because it's gonna have a good time in the future due to the upgrade and many more to come and I also anticipated that.
ETH will grow over a period and price will rise as well. Though holding 916 ETH by OP is too much for me that is 400k worth of investment in just 1 single coins. Anyways if he is holding it then good for him, but yes always have an investment spread across in other cons as well. Also invest based on what you think the future looks and not just as per some random posts people posts here.

I just sold every ETH on a average value about 440. It's not that I'm not bullish about the coin, I am, I believe ETH is going to hit 1K within a year but at current rise, Ethereum network is already facing a large congestion and the tx fees have rose so much that it's not worth doing small transfers. This would certainly discourage arbitrage traders and small investors. The price is ought to correct now. I'd buy it again around 360.

This is baseless, you don't buy a coin because of speculated price. Yes ETH can attain that price in future but saying you got an Intel from ETH team to buy looks like a big lie. I added more to my portfolio because of the awesome development progress and upcoming ETH 2.0 hoping it tackles scalability issues, and I make profit, but not because someone said it will hit a certain price in future.
Since most news right now about crypto is really positive and the market is already exploding at the moment especially in defi projects the price of eth will most likey increase in a few months even considering gas so high I think Op is right buy more if you have any spare money to invest.
ethereum now on fire in market and every traders put their bag with ethereum as much as they can before ethereum 2.0 released. current price on around $427 and to reach target price not difficult again since market now still bullish. i am sure this advice not coming from eth developer but come from OP him self.

How we can know that you are saying is true and came from a valid source?
ETH right now is in good price but I am afraid that if its increase its price more this means the fees you need to pay is also increase since many people is complaining about the increase of its fee when transferring ETH to other wallet.

Ethereum 2.0 is on the way and everyone would need around 32 ETH for becoming a validator on the network and now the system is going to change from POW to POS and once the upgrade is done, there won't be any use of the POW miners and they will be converted to POS ones so everyone want to buy at least 32ETH and this will boost up the Ethereum price but double price in a single month is actually hard to imagine and is almost impossible. he trying as if he was good friend from ethereum core developer. but he forget ethereum price was based on market demand , and no one could set it as their hope. but if talking based on fundamental it could be happen if ethereum 2.0 successfully released. and no one doubt ethereum hype at this moment still i hot due this news. 
The current price of ETH is $ 425 and it will continue to go up in the near term, I am quite skeptical that ETH could rise to $ 700 by the end of this month because we have 2 weeks left. Anyway, until the end of 2020 I also believe that the price will stay above $ 700, so buying ETH is the best option at the moment.
