We have noticed that the value of bitcoin is depreciating this few weeks and over 60 billion dollars have been wiped out in the value of cryptocurrency due the slide of bitcoins value. So what are the possible factors that contributed to the downfall of bitcoins value recently, here are some reasons according to this article; https://www.cnbc.com/2018/03/15/bitcoin-price-over-60-billion-wiped-off-value-of-cryptocurrencies.html

1. Google's announcement of banning cryptocurrency related ads
2. Large selling of BTC by MT. Gox

I actually agree to the article that these two are the main culprit on the downfall of bitcoins value. Let us wait and see if bitcoin can overcome such hurdles this coming months.
Yes. There are many ways to make bitcoin and earn money. This is because bitcoin is a very good platform to make money. This is because bitcoin offers various methods by which one can make money. Firstly one can jo N signature campaigns where one has to post on relevant topics and then he or she is paid accordingly. Then one can start earning bitcoin by bitcoin mining. One can also start trading bitcoin to make more money. Also bitcoin gambling is a very good way of making money but it is a little risky job as it also has high chances of loss.

I agree with you, the banning of facebook ads and the google's announcement of banning cryptocurrencies related ads is one of the reason why the bitcoin price is dropping. It has a very big effect because people who know about that quickly sell their holdings. And the percentage of sellers than investors. If there are more sellers than investors, the price drops and vice versa. I hope many more people will still believe in bitcoin and will continue to invest and make the bitcoin price increase again.

I'm starting to see this trend where people attribute Bitcoin price drops with FUD. But the FUD happening right now is weak in so many ways.

You have Google enforcing stricter regulations for their advertisements regarding crypto such that they'd disallow scammers and unlicensed people from advertising. This isn't FUD, it's a good thing. That means scam ICOs wont be advertised or gurus who are unlicensed.

There are actual reasons why bitcoin prices fall without it relating to the news. If you treat bitcoin like stocks, here are a few:

1. People just sell. It's not about FUD, it's not about conspiracies. It's just that people just happen to sell all at the same time because they need money for things in real life. Bitcoin isn't in some ideal world. Bitcoin investors aren't just in BTC, they're in the stock markets too. When the stocks do poorly, they have to sell BTC to make ends meet. Also, it's March, things are getting warmer, people want some fun money. Spring is a team of renewal, growth, love, etc.. For any number of reasons, people are selling en masse.

2. The volume or price performance looks glum. Experienced investors look at volume paterns and price performance. They treat bitcoin like a stock, so when stuff looks bad for a long stretch, they just sell to move on. I feel like the January – March drop scared away the new investors who don't know that things will pick up again. They probably decided to be over it.

So don't just go around blaming FUD all the time, geez. There are original, tested and tried reasons why stock prices fall – and bitcoin prices apply to those same princples :/

these may have been part of the reasons why price has been falling and they may have actually contributed a lot to it but I doubt that they have been the reason for the drop itself.

I said this a long time ago when price was struggling to go below $10k for the first time. back then that was a huge buy support preventing any kind of drop but the constant dumping at that time created a huge sell pressure which that buy support could not handle. when it was broken and price went down to ~$5900 that was it for bitcoin, the buy support vanished and many stayed away from bitcoin. ever since then it was a constant market manipulation and dumping for short term profit and things won't come back to normal unless price reaches a strong bottom and the dumping stops.

TBH Google crypto ads ban should only affect new projects and ICOs since they are using it for marketing. The most popular coins do not use it anyway (have you ever seen Bitcoin od Ethereum ad?) so it shouldn't matter for their price. But it is crypto after all, FUD is irrational.

I think constant news about governments regulations in many countries is why people are now more sceptic about bitcoin.

I think the real reason may not be because of the two, as is known to all, the influence of national policy for the bitcoin is huge, so the next G20 meeting of unstable policy is the real cause of the bitcoin down.

Google announcement of banning crypto related ads is really a  big news. If they really implement this in April, we will see a huge drop in prices and a lot of alt coins will suffer huge loss. Some may not be able to survive if they do not find other good places to advertise and gain more investors. Another news that might have affected the price is the recent hack that occurred in Binance. Many of the users of that exchange must have withdrawn their money because of this.
