The only people who like a bear market are those who were unable to purchase during the dip. That is why they always want another bear market when a bull cycle is triggered, and the funny aspect is that they will never purchase even if we have another bear market, but perhaps this time will be different since people have learned the benefits of bull markets.
No, but such people fall into the category of the one of the people that did not purchased bitcoin at low price, but there are swing traders that will want the price to fall also, there are other traders that will also want the price to fall, there are some people that take profit when the price increase much more and want to buy at low price, you can not say only people that missed the bull run are the only people that want the price to fall, there are many other people.

But your point is clear, it is true that people that have bitcoin and in huge amount will not want the the price to fall because they will be losing, but yet if the price is falling they should not sell because it will rise back.

Somewhat agree.

Bull markets are bittersweet— net worth skyrockets to all-time highs, I can afford a lot of stuff, and I overall feel great about myself. Downside being I look at charts like every 5-10 minutes and my overall productivity drops massively. I don't necessarily like bear markets though, as I'm always 90%+ allocated to bitcoin/crypto at all times. I'd prefer sideways markets.

Yes I somewhat agree also.

Points 2. and 3. are irrelevant as they only relate to $hitcoins and I aint got
any, I'm 100% in Bitcoin in the crypto space.

Point 4. is pretty much the same as point 1. If you are going to be squirreling
away Satoshi's on a regular basis the most opportune time is the Bear season.

Like mk4 the Bull seasons make me feel good, I dont feel as bad getting out of
bed at early o'clock to go to the office and work for someone else.

The bear market allows you to buy many potential coins to give you a chance to add more amount to your wallet.
When you already make a big profit from your investment, you can buy back whenever the bear market comes so you can start to invest in many coins.
Almost all coins will have a correction for the price to select which coin we want to buy and hold for some time.
Some people will prefer to leave the market to enjoy their profit and come back after some time.

1. The best time to build a long term portfolio is in bear market
If you join and build up your portfolio too soon in bear market, you will have loses and have to wait for many months go see profit.

2. Bear market don't care about any project, if your project is weak bear market can easily kill the project
The bear market does not kill anything. It is projects disappear by themselves. Developers already get good profits in bull market and if they don't have dedication to develop their projects, and only care about money, bear market gives them chance to exit and enjoy their lives.

Good projects with team members who have good dedication for developments, will stay being actively and keep up their developments in bear market.

3. Bear market reveals which coin is strong and which coin is weak, many coins won't even live through the bear seasons
It takes months for the Bear to filter scam, bad projects and good ones.

4. You get more quantities of coins if you buy in bear market
Only makes sense if the coins you buy are good ones. You will end with zero capital if you buy shit coins that end with zero trading volume.

3. Bear market reveals which coin is strong and which coin is weak, many coins won't even live through the bear seasons
Unfortunately these two are not true.

For starters the pump groups are always selecting random shitcoins to pump then dump. They always LOVE small shitcoins with small market caps since they can pump them the most. So they target those coins which are coins that are about to die.

Additionally we have seen that even dead coins (coins that don't have a blockchain anymore) can survive on exchanges since majority of altcoin traders don't care about these things. You can find lots of examples from 2017 when such coins were pumped a million percent at a time.

This is why we always say that "altcoin portfolio" is a foolish concept.

Yeah, those are correct. That is why a bearish season and a bullish season always compliments each other. Bear and bull cycles are always part of the whole.

What you missed on your list is that a bear market will shake off the weak hands. A bear market every once in a while is actually healthy; it helps the market become stronger and more solid. It is an opportunity for the market to purge the spaghetti hands. It is a period in which Bitcoin is transferred to the diamond hands, those whose belief in Bitcoin is much stronger than others.

Gotta agree some of them although I really hate the bear market but the positive impact of acquiring more Bitcoin is somewhat makes it better instead of the bull run. Unless of course, if you have acquired more Bitcoin already in the past bear market then what you'll gonna do is just to hodl and wait until the bull market is back.

Some people might not agree with but some will do since they can take any advantage to accumulate more Bitcoin before the bull run but we have a cycle of 4 years before seeing the bull run and new ATH. So it's a long time of accumulation which is helpful if all you did is accumulating more and more Bitcoin over the years.

After going through couple of them, I nowadays see bear market as an opportunity to acquire more. I mean, it isn't always easy to look at your portfolio going down, but after some time you get used to it and don't care about it anymore.

3. Bear market reveals which coin is strong and which coin is weak, many coins won't even live through the bear seasons

True but some over hyped projects survive this and recover immediately the bulls are around, that doesn't make them real as they can crash anytime and majority of the altcoins are in this class.

A typical example is the dogecoin project, it survive all bears and get pumped back out immediately other ignorant speculators are attracted to the industry due to bullish signs.

Investors that know what they're doing aren't afraid of bears, because they know that's an opportunity to get their hands on discount Bitcoin. Bears are definitely times to plant your seeds (invest in coins) in anticipation of sowing (profiting) in the future (bulls). It's the best time to buy low which is basically the blueprint to profitable investing or trading.

I know many don't want bear market 😅 we are so in love in the little

1. The best time to build a long term portfolio is in bear market
This will be only work for investors who take profit at every interval. Because if as an investor you just hold without having a share of your portfolio often when the bear market comes you would be taken unaware and what if you get faced with issues that would Warrant you to sell.
Bear market is the best time to build up portfolio for investors who have a strategy in anticipation for the bear.

The very best time to cover up for all the opportunities missed although you can never get it at the very value it was during it's ATLs but one can still get better entry point for new portfolio

Lol.. anyone that have coin will like a bear market of cryptocurrency, because the process a bear market arises the more profits people get through their coins, i may say that people that will dislike the increment of cryptocurrencies currently is people that is preparing to purchase a coins, because right now it's obvious that purchasing a currency or a coin when the market is high is at the buyer's risk, because market can fall unexpectedly and it  can rise unexpectedly too, so when this happens it obvious that the people that purchase at that period is at loose side of the market.

Obviously, it is a treat for those looking to invest or have yet to start in their first  buy of whatever coin it is, hopefully Bitcoin though. Somehow I recall the bearish market encounter back in 2018, when Bitcoin was like down to 3k from 7k.  Surely many people had panicked, but for me it was plenty of opportunity to buy more. If I just expected it to had surged to this price right now, I could have bought a 1 whole coin.

I agree with it at all. In the bear market, we are not overwhelmed with a lot of successful traders and their best technical analysis. Now in green, almost any noob can make a profit and promote themself to a market expert.
of course, a lot of rubbish shittokens projects has accumulated, which only unnecessarily burdens. One bear period would be beneficial to clean up the market a bit.

The bear market is a correction market that makes more people to feel they are having hope again, bear market makes them invest but some people can be afraid of the market thinking the price of bitcoin will fall more, but people that invest in bear market will see the gain very soon than others. One thing I like about hodl is that real holders are still happy in bear market waiting for another bull market when they will gain which will happen for sure, holders never lose, but traders are the ones losing during bear market.
