yes it is if you enable notification/subscription to the specific board
like ocminer has enabled it for altcoin announcement section and mostly he is first member to reply in a new altcoin announcement thread

I didn't know that too. Thanks a lot for this very useful tip!

Before today I had used search in this manner:
  • goto https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=search
  • Search for = "ANN"
  • Options = "Search in topic subjects only"
  • Message age = "Between 0 and 2 days"
  • Search order = "Most recent topics first"
  • Choose a board to search in, or search all = "Announcements (Altcoins)" only

Lol, maniac.  Smiley

Yeah Shadow, your nuts, F5 all day long ?! I wish I had the spare time you have. I also get notification but don't check my email too often.

I don't work coz of my health (I don't like to public this, coz people have to know I'm ok and typical human than thinks I'm whining about this) and every day at home...
I have hobbies, but still nothing to do than sit with my PC.
Not all day long but time to time while doing some different things in photoshop or watching movie on 2nd monitor, etc...

I'm not so crazy.  Smiley Just don't have a big choice...

I'm sorry to hear that. Health is everything. I know the medical establishment doesn't have all the answers. Some people I know have turned to holistic meds and even cannabis oil for their heath issues. It seems to work wonders for them while the pharmaceuticals just make them sick. Just a thought, if you haven't looked into it yet you may want to...

If you have an e-mail account with push, you get the mails almost instantaneously... max 10 seconds after topic has been created.. rather 3-5 secs

What mail client do you recommend to use? I never used mail clients.

Yes, I am.  Cool Grin
But not F5, side button on mouse more comfortable.  Smiley

I think, e-mail has some unnecessary delay. I will check it too.

If I got an email for every deleted post that's done, my inbox would be full and overflowing in a day, lollers.
