Well if you want accept credit cards from users but receive bitcoin you need to add an exchanges API. There is lots of exchangers they can do this accept credit cards payment from users and pay bitcoin.I know two exchangers they can do this for you  spectrocoin.com and cex.io.
Talk to them hope you can get the solution.

Hi naidray, will I need a bank merchant account to accept the credit card payments?

We have also been looking for this service.

Specifically, we would like to accept credit cards and paypal from users but receive hard coin, minus a fee and extra-long settlement period of course.

This is exactly what I want to do

this is easy if you use btc-e or yobit api and exchange perfect money, ok pay etc to bitcoin exchanged at the rate of yobit or btc-e instantly calling api so that you will get paid in bitcoin and receive payment in fiat but fee will be so high due to pm and okpay fees.

Hi Mobnepal, actually it's the other way around. I want to collect regular monthly payments in USD and receive payment in BTC, without it going through a bank account.

I'm not quite sure what exactly you're tying to find but from how I understand it, you need an instant exchanger for your site?
I do believe that Coinbase offers this kind of feature that you can add onto your site. Try maybe contacting them?

Instant exchange is going from Bitcoin to usd https://www.coinbase.com/instant-exchange?locale=enhttp://

I don't think any websites offer that kind of service, it looks like a majority (or all) of them just convert Bitcoin to USD, and not the other way around. I think the only way you'd be able to transfer USD to Bitcoin would be through exchanges, just like what everyone else does.

Yeah, the trouble with that is you have to open various accounts (merchant cc, paypal, fiat bank, exchange) all with various fees and time expenditure, and go through various hassles regularly to move back to hard coin, not to mention face different predators who watch those channels (regulators, hackers, etc).  It seems a payment services company skilled at doing those things could make a pretty penny by offering such a payment service.

I know that the inverse is possible using BitPay, but I've never heard of anything working that way, and I doubt that it exists.

I've been in touch with bitpay and they said that they don't do it

There are many websites that you could use. If you want to make the transaction in person, you could probably find someone on LocalBitcoins in your area.
If you're going to say something like that, at least back up your statement with some examples.

OP, you're talking about something like Bitwage, but for smaller payments probably? The only thing I can think of is having the money deposited on a Paypal account or other wallet and convert it from there. Then it wouldn't have to go through your bank account.

Is there a way to receive usd  on my website, and get paid by btc transfer to my wallet?

Your question is not clear for me. what you exactly need? an exchange site where you can convert your USD to btc?
there are thousands of exchange sites available on the web, but don't fall in for everyone, lots of them are scam, use localbitcoin and coinsbank.com these two sites trusted till yet.

Hi jak I don't want to use an exchange as this will mean the funds will have to go through my bank account. I don't want the usd going through my bank account. I want them to be directly exchanged to btc and lodged to my btc wallet, without going through my bank account.

Doesn't bitpay do reverse (usd to bitcoin) transaction as well?

If not, it might be good to contact them that you are interested in this, they might add the support if enough people want this.

You can also probably use the API of exchanges to automate the trading to bitcoin process once funds arrive in the exchange account, but then the trade will be delayed quite a bit, which might be risky.

I believe they don't. I also don't think they would be interested in integrating it. Last year they posted something about not selling the bitcoin they get doing this, and hold on to it. Don't know what their position is on it right now.

I would instead expect a site like Bitstamp integrating it in their trading environment.
