I will believe Quickseller over Bitcoin SV on his claim. However, I asked him to report the message to mod/admin to prove the legitimacy.
I seriously doubt QS sent BSV an unsolicited PM trying to extort bitcoin from him, especially since QS started this thread first, and BSV started what looks to be a revenge thread.  Given how BSV has acted previously, I'm 99.99% confident in my assessment here--but hey, if the mods care to step in and verify the facts, I'm all for that.

They should just launch a signature campaign and ask their participants to merit their posts - that's easy enough and obviously working and business as usual for some...  Cheesy
Hopefully that's sarcasm, but it's hard to tell on the interwebz.  I also hope you're not referring to Chipmixer or Foxpup's avatar thing, because nobody's asking anybody to send merits to fellow campaign participants in either one.  Just sayin'.

Sorry for late response - hum, not sure I'd call it sarcasm - there are campaigns where participants merit each other's posts or to be exact, merit their client's posts no matter what - funnily, even when posts are written in a language they don't even understand. So what's the stand when it comes to something like this here in the forum? I see people complaining about other's doing merit giveaways etc. but this is fine? Couldn't care less but the double standards (forum ethics/moral) are pretty annoying.

And no, I wasn't referring to Chipmixer or Foxpup cycling crew.  Cheesy

theymos rarely revoke merit source status, i only remember it happened one time (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.47229755)

There was at least one other case:

Is stingers still a merit source?

Not anymore. That's clear abuse, awarding merit for political reasons rather than any idea of quality. Only because he was a source, I effectively undid those merit sends. If he had not been a merit source, I still would've blacklisted anyone who got into DT1 through that type of shenanigans.

Meriting predominantly your own shitcoin and a known scammer/troll with source merits seems about as bad as "political reasons" since it's not really about post quality.

I checked the posts, and although I don't agree with Meriting them, I don't expect him to be removed as a source over this.
I just check his merit sending history too and the posts he merited for Bitcoin SV (shitcoin). It's clear that Vlad2Vlad is one of the honest user defined by Bitcoin SV.
Bitcointalk is forum of scammers. Only me and several users here are honest

Good thing.

But after going through the other merited posts I would say it's okay. I will also not want him to be removed. It's just some emotion he responded other than that he is doing fairly good.

Is he a merit source?
It must be, up to last Friday, Vlad2Vlad has sent 3281 sMerit, which is far more than he could have sent without being a source:

I checked the posts, and although I don't agree with Meriting them, I don't expect him to be removed as a source over this.

Yes. You might want to send a PM to theymos and ask him to take a look at it. Vlad2Vlad tends to send tons of merits to his shitcoin thread and now promoting a hypertroll... not a good look.
Is he a merit source? I think somewhere I read if a merit source abuse his sMerits the theymos will revoke his merit source status but if anyone do anything with his earned sMerits then he (theymos) does not have a problem.

Here we go. Looks like the mission to wear that much needed BSV avatar about to be accomplished.

Isn't this guy a merit source; https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/vlad2vlad-112208

If he is then it looks like clear abuse to me by an MS, trying to push the scammer's agenda.

However, and here's the catch: if there is no such PM and thus you lied, I'll change your password into a very large random number which I won't tell you and won't remember. Deal?
I actually like this creative proposal. Let's see what he responds.
- I deleted the PM?
- I do not trust you?
- LoyceV is asking my account password to steal my account?

I can not be more creative :-D

PS: What if they false claim against you sending or asking something? Who will prove that :-P

Quickseller is a famous scammer on this forum. Liar and very experinced extortionist

I'm just a harmless user
I'll give you a chance to prove Quickseller lied in this post if you let me verify your PM history by providing access to your account. I've done something similar before, and I have no interest in stealing your account.

If your post about Quickseller sending you a PM asking for 0.05 BTC is true, your topic deserves Merit and I'll Merit it.

However, and here's the catch: if there is no such PM and thus you lied, I'll change your password into a very large random number which I won't tell you and won't remember. Deal?

Are sockpuppet accounts being made now, @Bitcoin SV?
My guess is that he was temp banned for bumping a lot of old QS threads with similar posts. It wouldn’t be the first time something like that happened.

Quickseller is such a scammer, he even has flags.
And this relates to the situation... how? I fail to understand how any of it is relevant when the nature is that someone made a claim without evidence, and is continuing to say so again and again. Ad hominem attacks and character evidence do not distract from that core issue.

By the way I think I found a plagiarism-trolling here. Sounds a ban in me.
Whole topic is more or less copy/pasted but it is more like a parody. I wouldn't call that plagiarism.

I have reported the PM to all the admins asking them to confirm the above message in this thread.  I cannot control if they actually take my requested action.
This is pure unsolicited PM, if it's true then it's also a merit begging which isn't allowed on the forum. Because begging is against forum rules. Either any admin respond here or not, the reported user is supposed to get a ban. It seems Bitcoin SV has created a counter self-moderated topic after you made this post. By reading both posts and by considering all the replies made by both of you, I am assuming your accusation is right.

I will suggest both of you report to admins about unsolicited PM's. So someone from you will get a ban and we can avoid necessary arguments. We know all Bitcoin SV is a pure & well-known troll and trust abuser, I don't believe in his statements without proper evidence. Posting quotes about unsolicited PM prove nothing.

Nobody who publicly promotes Bitcoin SV is harmless. You’re a shit posting, troll who enjoys annoying people.

There’s lots of evidence that you’re actually a perma banned former poster.

If there is any question as to if the message in the OP is real, you can review the merit history of Bitcoin SV. His merit history reflects him doing effectively the same thing he is proposing.

Why not throw some screenshots of your own inboxes rather than posting a quoted messages. That way we'll find the one sending unsolicited PMs but I bet I know who's the one lying here.

Screenshots can't prove anything. About as easy to fake as a quote. Reporting to admins could prove it but I'm sure Bitcoin SV wouldn't do it and would just keep trolling.

That was also my thought about it. I ask you both (or just the one who is telling the truth) to click on the "Report to moderator" button in the PN.
This will provide the proof. As long as this hasn't happened, all further postings are unnecessary Wink
