Everyone is free to predict bitcoin for the future. Tom Lee predict 20k-25k and Pantera capital predict about 20k so these two people guesses for this year are the lowest and i think has the bisgest chances that's possible to happen. Of course Tom Lee have not predict anything correct untill now.
I think this year increased to about $ 15,000
The rest will stabilize in the first 6 months of 2019
Get back the market, the future can also be up to $ 20,000
But it will probably reach that milestone by 2020. I believe.

In my opinion this is just another statement on the type of "bitcoin has grown too" and "bitcoin too fell," as usual. This can rather be called assumptions, not predictions.

Well thanks for sharing. This are just a guessing from those people and all of us has our own prediction. It's better to have our own research about this technology for own good not just rely on no basis prediction.
Yes, big thanks OP for consolidating all the predictions into one single slide. It is easier to compare one with other so that we may conclude something our own. John Mccafe's is a long term one and due to the next halving by 2020, I am also expecting one million dollars by that time. But, we are all excited about the future whereas we all still need to worry on what bitcoin is having in short term. I just come across another thread here like the bottom on current market yet to happen by this September. Anyway, I need to face as I do not have any idea to sell off my big bitcoin savings.

By this year year, I still believe about having a new ATH hence $25,000 probably may happen by December of this year. If that will be happening then 2019 will copy the markets of 2017. Then obviously 2020 will be an exciting year as halving may happen at that time which may launch bitcoin prices into one million dollar too.

I wouldn't call these prices as predictions but rather mere guesses from these firms. There really isn't any reason for the price to go that high, let alone that the latest blow-off from the top happened only a few months ago, and a year of correction and accumulation isn't sufficient to build that much momentum towards insanely high prices. Aside from that, we witnessed that at $18k, the price started losing steam and only a few people can buy at that price, what more if the price is highly elevated? Where would the money come from?

no one believes in that prediction, it's stupid. we are often fooled into believing in predictions like this. it seems like only predictions of a reasonable pantera capital.

The prediction last year was $20k dollars and no one believe at that time but bitcoins still managed to reach $20k dollars before the year ends, just have faith and become rich in the future.

They all have their methods of work and those predictions are results of research and analysis. I just wonder, how can they be so different one from another? Those who predicted 250k, one million, they are basing their on what? What info do they have, must be they know something that others don't...  Cheesy
People can get lost in the sea of predictions, hoping of the best case scenario to happen.

Honestly whenever you see predictions like this, its never a good thing for the underlying asset; Bitcoin. Because this makes Bitcoin looks more of like a penny stock scam or a low-small cap stock pump and dump scam.

Meh, speculators gonna speculate. Wink

The real reason these predictions are bad for BTC is it shows how bullish the market sentiment is. Bullish exuberance is generally horrible for price performance. It suggests there are still many more bagholders and longs to squeeze before the return of a bull market.

The ETF will definitely cause a pump in my eyes. A lot of speculators are waiting/betting on an ETF approval.

If anything, ETF news will trigger more dumps......

I think its good time to but bitcoin. They never predict such price ,IF bitcoin ETF passed by SEC i am sure all the predictions will be right. it can cross these boundary easily.
We always think high then we get good result. Same thing followed by all person. They reach at this rank after lots of struggle
These guess may be right or may be wrong all thing depends on SEC decision of bitcoin ETF.
I am going to hold 0.1 Btc today for 2020 year as John David McAfee said its going to reach this range. Reason - McAfee has years of experience in the industry and he was right in many of his predictions thus far,

I can't really comment on the 2020+ predictions, it's too far ahead to guess
last year, bitcoin price close to $20k because of forks hype, network attack and segwit issue
this year, we have ETF case that may push price spike high like last year
so we may see ~$20k-$25k then crashing down to settle around ~$10k after ETF hype calms down

The ETF will definitely cause a pump in my eyes. A lot of speculators are waiting/betting on an ETF approval. Once ones approved panic buying would surely ensue. Who knows if there will be an actual pump caused by institutional investors buying ETF shares, or if it will be from speculators. We probably won't have an ETF approval this year, next year seems a lot more likely. By 2020 we will have the third block halving, bringing the reward down to 6.25. I'm certain this too will cause a pump. ETF approval + Block halving hype = new ATHs. I think the next bubble will take us to close to $50k, and eventually one day we will see $100k

You forgot to include the CEO of Bitmex Author Hayes where he predicts $50K by the end of the year.

Honestly whenever you see predictions like this, its never a good thing for the underlying asset; Bitcoin. Because this makes Bitcoin looks more of like a penny stock scam or a low-small cap stock pump and dump scam.

I will bet you anything that if any of those people were presented with an opportunity to buy a call options around their predicted price and day and put some actual money on the line; none of them would.

That seems doubtful. Even if an ETF were approved (and that seems unlikely based on what the SEC has said), it's not like demand from institutions and retail investors and conventional day traders is going to appear overnight just because of ETF approval. Any bump in price will be caused by traders and short squeezes, and there's still lots of resistance overhead from last year's bubble. I think new ATH anytime soon is really unlikely.

I like the 2022 bets......those are the only realistic ones of the lot.

Agree that these aren't predictions anymore predictions but they are guesses. Tom Lee's and Pantera capital's guesses for this year are the lowest and that's possible to happen.

2020 guesses during the halving with Alistair's price is also reliable but all of them are just giving their opinion on the market but if ever one of them will record a good accurate guess, they will benefit on it.

You should add a $10M prediction as well—it is a thing now as far as I know: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.44295910
None of those you listed are credited or accurate 'predictors,' and these are just guesses I would take with a grain of salt.

You should read better, how you can say that nobody from the list is not accurate predictor, do you think it's possible to be 100% accurate regarding BTC price? That link you posted is like a some joke, 10$ million by 2023 predicted by Wilma Woo, who is she?

All listed people/companies are invest some money in cryptocurrency and they have some opinion regarding future of BTC, but it is all just speculation and should be not taken too seriously. But one man from the list was pretty accurate in the past, he certainly deserves to be on any speculations list.

Everyone is free to predict bitcoin for the future, but you should predict not too high and not too low, so we can trust you.

That is quite impossible to do it because future no one knows it. It is just a guessing game based on if something happened like that then it can reach that price or no.

But I feel those value quite impossible to achieve in this year means in next few months time. If it reaches those targets then all investors will be quite happy including me. If it reaches even 10K in this year will be a great improvement.
Even me, these predictions or whatever guessing happen those experts in speculation still remain not true, maybe they had a pattern on this by graphing the latest price value and that impossible happen. It depends on the events and the demand on the market, but maybe they're guessing are all possible to happen. At least all their result are positive side on bitcoin and hopefully, it will happen.

This thing has come always in my mind if they know the possible happen in bitcoin they are now quite rich enough.

of these predictions very few of those who really attached them to the analysis. mostly they are made without thinking
Guess who did the last sentence that made without thinking numbers that are favorable for their position that came out from the sky we shall see if the first one will be going to meet this year before it ends, $20k seems reasonable for the upcoming bull trend followed by the second one which is $25k the last but not the least is the most exaggerated price prediction guess who made that out of nothing.
