Anyone pissed off lately about the price drop next 2 me?  Huh

Those of us who bought it around 3700 eur hoping that it's gonna go for the 5K then it fall back under the frogs ass 3200 EUR...

Do you believe it's only due to Bitcoin Cash?

I want to see steady rollin up to 10k.

If you are on long term no way you will be pissed off with the crashed since after all you will not sold your coins. Take that crash as an advantage to buy again since once the journey to the moon started again you won't be able to take the ride again.

Price decrease is normal even for a crash. There is no way the trend is always upward because of hard volatility in cryptos.

Honestly, I'm expecting a bear market in the few weeks to come. What goes up will always go down.

You bought at a very high level, there might be profit still there for you, but there might not be too.
You can't complain, if you jump on board after a 50% rise in a month,  and 250% in the last 6 months, it is possible that the price won't continue to rise.

We aren't even at that point yet anyway. It might go up, down or sideways from here, my point is, you can't complain!

I don't know is it because bitcoin cash or not but it might be the part of it. The bitcoin price dropped in the last 2 days and actually the price is going up again slowly today. If you want bought more, it's the right time right now. I guess the price of bitcoin will back to $4,000 soon and when the bitcoin cash price fall, the bitcoin price will go up.

Roger and his cult are dumping their bitcoins probably.

If I'm right that means they are leaving the bitcoin network which is a good thing.

lol, you wish.
people like Roger Ver believe in bitcoin more than you and I do. that is why he is the owner of a large sum of bitcoin. he is never going to leave bitcoin, dump it or anything like that.

all these public stunts is for other reasons that we all have suspicious about and some day we will be sure about it.
but it is never because they don't believe in bitcoin or want to leave it.

I doubt Roger is dumping his coins.
As much as I don't like him and hope he would doing so, he isn't that dumb! He knows pretty well that BTC is much more superior than his and Jihan's Bcash crap!
No he will stay with us and hate against Core and the rest whenever he feels to do so.
Being a troll and hater to the entire community is his new passion. That's what's driving him now.

The ongoing price drop is not a price crash. This is fluctuation happening in large scale compared to price variations taking place in terms of $10-$50. Soon the price once again moves forward crossing the past increased price and recording new ATH. This can be used as an buying opportunity to profit in a short time.

I feel you, man. I also am pretty pissed about this price drop since i do have some stake in btc as well that is a sizeable amount of my personal net worth(not much value wise, but big percentage wise). Just don't panic too much and start panic selling.

When there is a correction, there will be a correction upwards as well. I expect the price to rise up to around $3950, before further correcting down to $3700 or so. The price before at $4k+ was just unnatural and imo i actually feel much more comfortable at the current level than before.

$10k will be a pretty long journey, which imo will be hit 2021-2022. If you are a long term bitcoin holder then you can take advantage of these short term price variances by buying the dips, and eventually when the btc price rises you'll be able to cash out a nice amount.

Well, there is really no reason thath you should be pissed. Should always be keeping a balanced portfolio, and when the price enters bubble territory you should be especilaly careful with speculating on btc's price going up.

$5k was almost in sight, wasn't it? But it was never going to be easy.

No, it's not bitcoin cash. When the crash came Bitcoin Cash hasn't been gaining a crap ton. I know it gained a crap ton beforehand but not during the correction. It was just that people been hyping about bitcoin way too much and ultimately there will have to be an adjustment in price, can't go up forever.

Price can't keep increasing, it is just another normal correction and if you don't panic and sell your bitcoin at lower price than you will not loss anything. Just be calm and hold your bitcoin for next few months.

Current crash is not actually a crash, its just another round of correction.

You didn't think it was going to be that easy, did you? There are powerful groups out there who benefit just as much from a fall as a rise. They're the ones steering the ship, not the hopes of us little people. And oscillations like this are perfectly natural too. A straight run up to 10k would have a nasty hangover.

This is normal for bitcoin, and because it went up very fast, it's come down again quickly too.

Also, some advice: don't get fixated on round numbers like $5000. The sell offs usually happen before them, and you get caught out if you wait for a few dollars more just so it's a "neat" number to sell. Trading isn't neat.

1. No, I guess it is an opportunity to buy some more btc and reap the fruits of it after

2. I guess It will increase again, so you should get worried so soon and wait for the announced Segwit2x

3. It's a race between both, but I think BCH wouldn't cause BTC to decrease.

I also want to reach 10k, maybe next year.

Recent Crash
a crash means a huge price drop. what happened here is that price went down about 5% and that is small and ridiculous even in a big market like Stocks or Forex! let alone in bitcoin market. here a 15% or even 20% drop is not a crash. and 5% is surprisingly small and is called the normal market fluctuations.

add to that the fact the price was $2000 not so long ago and you will see how a $3800 after being $2000 a month or so ago sounds like.

Anyone pissed off lately about the price drop next 2 me?  Huh
no, most people are extremely happy because they could, once again, buy bitcoin cheaper than it should be.

i had some money that i wanted to invest in bitcoin and if this small dip didn't happen i would have ended up buying less bitcoin. but thanks to this i bought even more.

you are expecting wild swings out of bitcoin (from 5000 to 3200 is 36% drop) and that is not going to happen.

it has nothing to do with bitcoin cash. well maybe a tiny bit because of some secondary effects.

that is impossible.
a healthy market has corrections like what you just saw. a price rise then a small drop known as correction.
it is the reaction market has to traders who sell short term to take the profit and enter back again as price corrects.

Be worried if it goes 500 euro.  Wink
Don't be shaken up by the comments up there or you might regret it.
If all of us will just fall for a simple crap then this thing will really be brought down. Be wise and just trust your instinct. Look at the graphs. Rise and fall is normal with bitcoin.

Well this kind of thing isn't really surprising on bitcoin and I do somehow expected for this thing to happen on which its price would really decrease anytime sooner but I cant really consider it as a crash since its price dropped just a little percentage and it didn't even breakout on the support which means it do have a strong support on its price. Bitcoin cash doesn't have any relation on this one.

Bitcoin price fluctuates a lot, it's the subject of massive speculation. Some people will say it's because of BCH, some people will say it's the uncertainty because of miners (miners leaving, miners want a new fork, whatever). Some will tell that Bitcoin will reach $1M, some will tell that Bitcoin is doomed and will become dust very soon. That's why people have to invest only what they afford to lose: it's a risky business. Bitcoin seems to head back to $4k levels, which I can't deny I like.

Although I am a little sad that Bitcoin retreated almost back to the pre-SegWit level, I find this whole thing to be non-surprising at all. This is a normal behavior for Bitcoin and sooner or later the bull can be back raging. In fact, this can be good news for people who want to have Bitcoin at a lower rate. If I got the money right now, I would grab this thin opportunity to buy Bitcoin at a cheaper price. I am sure that the trend is going up though there will always be corrections along the way just like what we are witnessing right now. There is nothing to be alarmed with this dip, actually.
