Is anybody here into post rock, metal rock or instrumental rock?
Or I am the only one that listens to, as people would call it, "depressive music"?   Cheesy

Great stuff, there! Not many people you find are aware of Protector or Massacra, Morbid Angel and VoiVod are also old favorites of mine, Trey Azagthoth  has been a major influence on my playing and I liken listening to those old MA albums to religious experiences. I've got to listen to that Death Strike album, I'm a big fan of Speckman's other band, Master but never listened to DS - Paul Masvidal played on the Master album On The Seventh Day...Speckman's comments about that are pretty funny.

Some info about bands i have found there, i don't know if they are largest but i'm very pleased such site exist.
You can find info chronologically and later you can find it on youtube and enjoy in music.

YES!!! I love Venom! My friend got to see Venom Inc. - Venom with Abaddon, Mantas, and Tony Dolan - last month and said it was a great show. Hard to pick a favorite but their At War With Satan album and its title track is epic.

One of my all time favorite tracks:

Radical change in style, get a load of this  Cool

The do - Dust it off  (live version)

Chills down the spine... or nah??

Amazing, I love it. The girl is an awesome vocalist. The whole thing reminds me a bit of Bjork.

You might like this band I recently discovered, GoGo Penguin. They're a 3 piece instrumental group with a pianist, drummer and double-bass player, kind of relaxing jazzy stuff but really well done. The drummer does a lot of cool technical breakbeats which anyone into dnb will appreciate.

Gogo Penguin - Kamaloka
GoGo Penguin - Hopopono

Their album called "V2.0" is well worth checking out.

I guess it is due to growing-up in the late 70s and 80s and coming-up with and seeing such great bands (to me) like Iron Maiden, Motorhead, and Metallica, but I have the hardest time finding anything that really blows me away these days. Two of the few tracks that have recently:

Dead Congregation - Teeth Into Red

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GiiGbhaEhHM

This track here is amazing, really great composition by Nokturnal Mortum - Valkyrie

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BtQ0i3oOYdc

Those are cool, I like a bit of black/death metal, it's a shame that the first video you posted has such poor sound quality, would be nice if it was recorded directly from the mixing desk.

I always liked Brutal Truth, it's grindcore more than death metal but very good, one of my favourite tracks: Denial of Existance
Also Emperor, Mayhem, Dissection, Napalm Death, Cannibal Corpse and of course Cradle of Filth! But CoF went a bit shit after their first 3-4 albums. I love the album "Dusk and her Embrace", my favourite track is probably Funeral in Carpathia.

There doesn't seem to be a lot of new bands that are as good as the older ones, it's a shame but it makes me appreciate the classic stuff more I guess...

And after all this gnarly metal shit, I think I should post some more chilling music, this one is haunting...

Portishead - Only You
