Not only do they make it a do or die affair, they aswell make it look a profession for them such that they bank on it all day and turn out addicted when they try to make up for losses in some cases but then, it will be fair enough if they have a different mindset about gambling.

This principles most times are difficult keeping when it come to the way these gamblers engage in their gambling activity. Sometimes some of them have this principles with which they gamble but have the challenge of lack of discipline to stick to such principle well enough, most times they may keep to this principle for a while after which they go back to recklessness and been irresponsible gambling.

Agree with you, it would be better if we maintain control well rather than in the future it will have a bad impact on our own lives, if someone loses control then he will feel like he is experiencing or even often encounter problems in his life because he is unable to find a good solution that is in his mind it will be chaotic and it is possible that he could experience severe depression. Yes, that's the consequence if you are careless in gambling. Allowing losses that have occurred is the right way so that gamblers do not take the wrong action, namely chasing back losses that have occurred before, even though it is not certain that in the future they will be lucky or win, and it is better if we just let it go or stop first so that conditions are calm and come back again if already better.


Of course, if you force an action or activity then the results will not be satisfactory or optimal, especially in gambling, if you play forcefully it is likely that the results will not be the same as what you want, instead of wanting to win what you will get is defeat.

Exactly.  And if luck strikes and you end up winning some cash, don't rush to spend it all at once.  Take a breath and ponder what you wanna use the money for.  Perhaps knock out some bills, stash some away for later years, or even treat yourself to a nice little holiday.

That's right. We gamblers are a bit both entertainment and profit seekers. Which part is prevalent is what's important. If for you fun is what you are looking for, you won't engage in reckless gambling after a win round. Why would you? You've got what you wanted, you can just relax.

We always advise not to chase losses, especially if the losses are quite large because we might need a lot of money to recover from those losses. But before that loss can be recovered, we will experience more losses so the number of losses will increase even more. We have to be wary of this because it can be the start of a gambling addiction, so we have to be able to control ourselves when we experience loss and think about leaving the casino.

A person who experiences loss will affect his psychology, where he can forget all the restrictions he made when gambling. He may be reckless enough to deposit more money to recover his losses. And if he wins, he can become greedy in pursuit of bigger wins. That's where he will start to experience loss, which can become bigger if his self-control slowly disappears. If you can win, immediately get out of the casino and cash out your winnings so you won't think about chasing bigger wins.

yep, exactly. those who chase defeat or victory ignore something important the more they chase victory or defeat, they will continue to bet or persist in gambling for a long time, whereas the longer we bet, the more we lose because the house edge will beat the budget we have.

Gambling itself, I would like to think wasn't designed to actually give everyone that winning but only a few person and we all know that it's actually a business that is being ran and in every business the owner would love to benefits more.

Gambling is something that needs to be played with the understanding that not all the time that winning is an option as their is always the possibility of you losing your funds and in the same feat, can make you start thinking vaguely.

It's greed that lead the person to his winning streak, most of the time that misconception create a big risk with your finances, once you follow that desire chasing your winning streak, your apetite into gambling will increase and the bad part is when you start experiencing losing streak as you will continue to chase everything and will try to recover back your money in a quicker time frame.

The outcome most of the time will not favor your side but it will for the house that will benefit a lot.

It is highly discouraged and in fact always warned that chasing wins or chasing losses will result in a person losing more money which can cause emotions to rise and a gambler to lose control which will cause the first signs of addiction to start to take over him.

It's true everyone playing a reckless round in their life time. Everyone new gambler has a crazy to win lot of amount that craze creat grrddy ness inside to win a lot. That greediness force a gambler to play reckless games aftar earning from gambling. That's the reason im saying that sometime luck fevour and win but every time luck doesn't fevour with gambler.

Actually, most gambling sites do give profits at the initial bets of a gambler. I've seen that quite a few times. Rested my bet for a week or more and then when I got back I was on a winning spree. But gambling sites do know that we won't stop. We will keep on gambling that winning amount because of the thought that we have something to spare and we don't really care much about those profits unless our capital is moved.
It happened to me a lot of times but I still cannot take advantage of those chances. Why? Simply because of my greed I want more than what they give. Sometimes, they do give prizes like x50 or more on your first try but they will get it back with or without our knowledge. There's no safety in gambling, especially the online gambling sites, they will keep on taking unless we are too lucky that we can withdraw if the chance comes in.

Of course there are many factors that can make them make something into an excuse about why they have such a goal, either an unreasonable goal or one that is still within reasonable limits, as you said that there are two types of people who will choose two different choices, between gambling with the aim of winning / earning or they come with the aim of just looking for entertainment, basically only they know about what their goals really are, it's out of our control and maybe we will be able to find out about what their goals really are from the impact that will befall them.

If the negative or bad effects that they always get such as a lot of financial problems and defeats that continue to dominate then from that alone I think we can already conclude that their goal of engaging in gambling is to make money, obviously the bad effects will definitely occur because in reality and the truth is that gambling is only a place to seek entertainment and pleasure, that's why they get bad effects, and for those who come with still carrying reasonable limits then they will remain fine, that has been proven.

People gamble for all sorts of reasons. Some folks are after that big win, while others just enjoy the excitement or hanging out with friends. Trying to put gamblers into neat little boxes just doesn't work. People are too complicated for that.

Of course there is no way addiction is come on a first trial but is come at the continues tense on the course of either winning or loosing.
But @ OP, a gambler can still win at a first time of gambling so does it mean at this moment one is licenced or triggered to addiction? Of course not. Addiction is a just habit.

Not all winners or losers are responsible gamblers but all responsible gamblers are winners or losers.

Whatever things are forced will never end well, even when you work to earn money, you will only burden yourself if you force things that you can't actually get. In gambling, a calm mind is the key to victory. If your mind is confused then whatever decision you make will only end in big losses, try to think about whether there are successful people (in gambling or in business) who always force things out of control, they certainly won't do that, they will wait for the right moment and will always evaluate their plans if it goes wrong.

Much better to keep your control, excessive gambling can make further damages not with financial alone but also your health can be compromised, with a huge amount that potentially can be loss along the way, it can create more problem with your emotions, and yes, it's  a natural reaction that needed to stop, chasing your losses or the other side of it is chasing your enjoyment because of greed that being developed after that win that you experienced.

Just chill and let the right thing to happen, gambling as for entertainment purpose and nothing else after, that will keep you safe when you participate and place your bets.
