The first bit of this reply is to both whatdoichoose and dc81,

The system is pretty easy to monitor. Between the machines and the new system which we will launch at the end of this week to run in tandem with the machines. The link is a qr code scan for each deposit of a plastic bottle or aluminium can. This is done via a mobile app and then sends the bcdc token to a wallet. This token can then be exchanged on an exchange or as mentioned can be used in our other platforms or dapps.

The second bit below is in answer to the second half of whatdoichoose' question.

If you download our whitepaper or go to www.bcdc.online you will get a full breakdown on the amount of tokens and what they will be used for; but yes they are capped.

With regards to the investment through Ecochain question:

If you invested in each renewable project with FIAT you would get a set amount of ROI. If you invested with BCDC Tokens you would get a set amount + 0.25%.

Why? It costs less for us to process a BCDC token as it would with FIAT due to AML/KYC regulations, bank transfer fees and charges etc. etc.

It just makes the system cheaper to work with, but we realise that large institutional investors and others will want to pay with FIAT. And since the whole aim of the project is to enhance and advance renewable energy projects; we have to have as many ways for people to be able to invest as possible.

(also, happy to read a cv if you want to send it. You can invest and work here too if the is a suitable fit.)

Do you have any further reading on the subject and it's workings,.. maybe some financial information i could show a friend that is into investing so he can tell me what he knows about the stuff.
Maybe a link or pdf ?

is there or will there be a max number of tokens in circulation (kind of like the 21milion bitcoin thing) ?

You mentioned a 0,25 percent increase in earnings when picking the BCDC token,.. is that an increase added to the 1,00 you get for fiat or do you keep it lower when paid out in fiat.

What i mean is, is fiat 0,75 or 1 making BCDC tokens 1 or 1.25
i hope this makes sense,..

i'm dutch (by the way belgium sure could use your system, i even have ideas on where to put the machines) so sorry for the way i phrase and write things.
my mouse kind of hovered over the career link but i figure your demand is not for another random creative person but a programmer or network architect or something Smiley so investing is the next best thing Smiley

However i am the what if guy,.. so i might just send you my cv haha,.. it's a light read
awaiting your reply

Very true,

From both a resource and energy point-of-view; it takes a lot less of both to recycle plastic and aluminium than it does to make them from new.

There will come a time in the near future where it will cost so much to make these containers from new that recycling will become the sought-after option.

Until then we, and others, can only do our bit by producing schemes like RecycleToCoin and national deposit schemes.

By the way. Stay tuned till the end of this week when we release RecycleToCoin V2. Enabling us to roll out on a national and international basis fairly quickly.

Environmental protection has always been a big problem in the world. Recycling and recycling industry will surely reshape the whole industry in the future. The waste of resources is too serious. Recycling is the best way to support the environmental protection industry.

To G Butrick,

Yes there will be bounty tokens available for things like Platform and DApp testing. As well as available for translation services.

These will be paid in our BCDC tokens though and NOT BTC or ETH.

We will be using a contract which allows people who help us like this, prior to the token sale, to have their tokens delivered on the day the main token sale begins which is Sept 26th.

Regards

Donny.

To WhatDoIChoose,

Thanks for the questions.

The data is accurate as accurate as it gets. We are as sure of this as we can be. The data was gathered by Greenpeace Ocean campaign and Sky Ocean Rescue campaign.

The monetary value of the token will be set by the market.

But we will have some local retailers involved in accepting them in return for discounts or being able to purchase items. We are in talks with a global plastic organisation to offer a donate-to button where people who recycle can choose to donate the portion of token or token depending on how many items are recycled to this cause.

We will use the funds from the sale of commodity, which is the plastic and aluminium, to buy back the tokens from the participating retailers and global organisation and put them back into the RecycleToCoin wallets to ensure that the scheme can keep going.

They can also be used in our other platforms like Ecochain which would allow you to invest in renewable energy projects and if you used BCDC tokens instead of FIAT you would get .25% more return on your investment than if you used FIAT.

We are sure that this will lead to demand and will also raise the value of the tokens and allow us to top them up for the RecycleToCoin project.

Regards

Donny

I have a few questions,. i hope you don't mind me asking.
First and foremost i applaud the idea and concept,.. was working on something similar

First question,.. is all the data factual ? what are your sources,.. for example,.. powering a tv for three hours and 36 million pounds that reaches the landfill.
Second question what is the monetary value of one token,.. how is it fixed ? does the market determine the price ?
I'm new to this crypto currency stuff that's why my questions might look weird,.. but even weird questions have answers granted they might be weird answers i await them still,...

also just wanted some activity to read so this is kind of poking the giant Smiley

www.bcdc.online

On a project like this one it will be trialed small then rolled out when we are sure there are no scaling problems and the system can handle it.

Apologies for not putting the full details on here but if you go to the website it will show you everything you say is not available. (all we wanted to do was highlight this project and let people find out more at the website. I take full responsibility for not adding the web address)

Even with the diagram it's hard to understand how it works.

We don't know about your infrastructures, your capacity to handle every transaction, the partners you already have, where do you plan to be implanted at first, the team behind the project ...

As I see it, the implementation of such a system worldwide would be even hard for a multinational company, but you don't even have a website. No roadmap too.

Sorry, the aim of the project is really good, but for me utopic and it feels like a big scam.

It will work on a voucher system with a QR code to scan through a mobile app. Which will put the token into a pre-setup wallet.

And come on guys we are not putting anymore detail than that on here. The diagram explains it well enough.

We are looking for community coders with experience to test things out for us. email [email protected] if you have the skills with a small history.

We will have the RecycleToCoin Project up an running the day before our token sale starts in mid-September. This will prove skill-set and delivery unlike all the other ICO/Token Sales.

And we have a Adviser/Bounty/Promoter budget of 75m BCDC tokens set aside for those with the skills to help us. (These tokens will be released on day 1 of the token sale to calm nerves about past scam artists who have ripped people off)

So is this an announcement for an ICO to build this system or do you already have the necessary hardware/software to implement this in your area?
i think they get nothing ..and i don't think they can do it
idea is good ,but just feel it can not work

This Ethereum based application will provide a cryptographic token reward for the return of single-use renewable plastic and metal drinks containers.
Basing the physical model on the Dutch and Norwegian “Deposit System” we will change the reward which the consumer gets from a small amount of fiat currency to a small portion of a BCDC Cryptographic Token. The consumer can then use this in other BCDC Platforms or be able to swap this on participating token exchanges for other digital coins like Bitcoin or Ether or other popular coins.
This will enable consumers to save their local and global environment while learning about, interacting with and exchanging digital currencies. Skills they will need in the near future as more and more digital currency adoption is embraced and used at retailers worldwide.

See below for some facts on why we should be recycling and why we will reward you to.
1 recycled tin can would save enough energy to power a television for 3 hours.
1 recycled glass bottle will save enough energy to power a computer for 25 minutes.
1 recycled plastic bottle would save enough energy to power a light bulb for 3 hours.

Tin Cans/Aluminium Recycling Facts

24 million tonnes of aluminium is produced annually, 51,000 tonnes of which ends up as packaging (drinks and food cans etc) in the UK.

If all cans were recycled in the UK we would need 14 million fewer dustbins.

£36,000,000 worth of aluminium is thrown away to landfill each year. If this were put to good use it could give put an extra 1650 emergency workers in the UK system (nurses, police and fire crews).
Aluminium cans can be recycled and ready to use again in as little as 6 weeks.

The aluminium drinks can is the worlds most recycled packaging. In the UK alone 60% of current drinks cans have previously been recycled.
Manufacturing one aluminium drinks can from raw materials uses the same amount of energy as it would take to recycle 20 drinks cans.

If all the aluminium drinks cans recycled in the UK during the previous year were laid end to end it would stretch from John O'Groats to Land's End 140 times, or go around the earth 30 times.

Every steel can is 100% recyclable, it can be turned into more steel cans, bicycles, parts for cars and many other every day products each and every time.
Every day over 80 million food and drinks cans end up in landfill from the UK alone.
We get through over 5 billion drinks cans per year in the UK or 600 per household on average.
Weight for weight the aluminium drinks can is worth 6-20 times more than any other used packaging material. To put this into numbers there are more than £30 million pounds worth of empty aluminium drinks cans in the UK waiting to be collected and recycled.

13 billion steel cans are produced in the UK each year. If we put those steel cans end to end it would reach the moon 3 times.

The recycling rate for aluminium cans is already above 90% in countries such as Brazil and Japan, Why not the UK and the rest of the world? Is it because there is not enough incentive? Well we will now give you a reason to choose to recycle. We will give you a reward which you can swap for the digital currency we will all be using in the future.

If you needed another reason then please read below and you will see why you should recycle your plastic drinks containers:
According to the SKY Ocean Rescue Campaign (which inspired us to develop this blockchain application):
Every minute, the equivalent of a rubbish truck load of plastic goes in to our oceans, it never decomposes and will remain there forever. If nothing changes, by 2050 all the plastic in the ocean could weigh more than all the fish. Plastic impacts on an entire ecosystem, marine life get caught up in it, eat it and live in it. It also has a direct impact on our health, acting as a sponge for toxins which can end up in our food.
Do you want your children or their children to grow up with thousands of pieces of micro plastic in their bloodstream? We don’t; which is why we are developing this project. We want to be at the vanguard of saving not only our planet but our health too.
Blockchain infrastructure build and implementation/start period – Immediately and will launch in a little over 2 months from now.
