FBI Warns Digital Currency Exchanges and Crypto Owners of Possible Threats.
Dow plunges nearly 900 points: What’s driving the stock market selloff.
All is red flags in the bear market for crypto market, how do you think of it?What we should do?

If the stock market falls, the crypto market will rise. In the past two days the stock market has fallen, but the crypto market is changing. Most crypto prices are starting to rise, especially Bitcoin which is up +9%.  I think there is nothing to worry about this.

Government Agency are always in the habit of warning cryptocurrency users and threatning exchanges! Anytime I see these warnings, I see it as a signal to buy good crypto. It  has turn out to be a goo decision for me. We have heard many good news right after these warnings and bitcoin rebound into positive teritories now! Cryptocurrency is a different market from stock market and these differences is what make crypto market unique!

Personally I am going to wait for things to be worse and buy more Bitcoins then. As it is an absolutely normal thing when after a big bull run, everything is falling. That's why there is no point in worrying. Actually, I would rather you made your own decisions and if you don't believe in the potential of this industry, then sell.

Talking about threats of attacks, they exist all the time, so the best way we can protect ourselves from them is to work only with projects that we have investigated. And in case of uncertainty, it is better to invest small sums and be on the alert  Roll Eyes

what do you really think?
From the beginning, the crypto market grew by pumps and dumps. traders and investors enjoy it all as learning to study the market. Don't confuse the stock market, oil, and other investments with crypto. it will be different when the analytical skills you use do not develop.
the market is grown to attract more new investors. then the market will drop to allow the old investors to enter at a lower price. in the course of the market, they will be back in the pump.

Exactly. I really never understand why people cry and whine and complain,,, this is normal and we all NEED the market to go pump and dump like this to make it interesting for new players and speculators.

I think without them,,, even the holders and users would get bored. Then we would all get a different form of complaining. Enjoy the ride.

What does the FBI have to do with market movements that are already in the bear zone? do they take advantage of the conditions or their duties are no longer in the secret investigation sector? if they contribute to the dissemination of inaccurate information how do we assess them as an independent institution?

Yes, that's right, the red flags flying in the bear market, and it all happened because bear market assets are very scary for other market assets, because the bear market is very unprofessional in the crypto asset market, and the bear market has no rules in running a market. project.
therefore all market assets should not happen the same thing.

I don't understand one thing. What is the point in saying that the dip in Bitcoin prices is caused by the NYSE market crash? It should be the other way around, right? If the stock markets are down, then the cryptocurrency prices should be going up. If the stocks markets give good returns, then the attractiveness of cryptocurrency diminishes, if I am not wrong. If the same is true with gold (when stock market goes down, the gold prices go up), then I don't understand how it can be different for cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin.

Because as much as Bitcoin likes to think it is on its own and has gone a new way away from the traditional markets, so far this last 2 years it has shown it is still highly correlated.

Think back to March 2020 last year when the stocks and oil totally crashed (oil even became negative). Bitcoin also crashed to the lowest point in 3 years.

They don't have anything direct in terms of relation in crypto, but from their emphasis on that kind of FUD would make a lot of people dump their coins causing price to plummet.
It is more of like reaction rather than the direct of effect of it.

Rehashed FUD made by the media and also you OP. The FBI article was made a few weeks ago, and honestly, IMO the FBI news is exaggerated. the article you stated also referred back to 9 July. So, if you correlating it with the current price then it's FUD, that spreaded yet again.

Nevertheless, this week the stock markets have some sell-off, some people indeed correlate it with the current cryptocurrencies market situation. Actually, we shouldn't have to worry about all of this. It's just another day in the office.

Cryptocurrency should not be at the receiving end of FBI operations and warning.  Those who violate the law should be dealt  with and without prejudice against cryptocurrency.  If there is spotlight on cryptocurrency by authority, it will definitely trigger a response no doubt, however,  it shouldn't be a red flag for you to sell! Cryptocurrency is legit and the future of money is dependent on it!

If you choose to sell because others are threatening and you see some lagging indicators which that indicate bear market, do so but it will be literally wrong if you are creating awareness for people to sell.
Don't be surprised you wl just wake up and see bitcoin price on $40k doing some wonders. It has happened before and I don't see anything stopping it this time either. There is always a choice and option, sell or hold to the moon.

So we are in the bear market. Hold or sell because there's no way of knowing how long this lasts. And about those threats, they are nothing new. Everyone knows that exchanges and individuals are in constant danger of being hacked. It has been so since crypto had value, now there are just more and more criminals aware of it and how much newbs are vulnerable to social engineering.

I'm not gonna tell you what to do. If you see these news and events as red flags or signs of a coming bear market, sell your cryptos for fiat or stable coins. To each his own. Personally, the stock market sell off could be also a sign that more traditional/institutional investors are moving to cryptocurrency and/or gold market.
There's only a small chance that this scenario will happened because institutional investors aren't dump to enter crypto while they dodge bearish stock market. Crypto market always follow the movement of stock market because it shares the same psychological to traders. The history will just repeat itself same when COVID-19 hits global economy. Its much better to play safe at this point especially that we know that there's upcoming unlocking of funds from Institutional investor soon. There is always a correction for a chance of re-entry in case the market start to recover.

There are a lot of possibilities that result in this kind of movement. Possibly, a very powerful person wants to buy crypto at the best price. Maybe a group of people or a person that has a lot of BTC decided to sell his stack and wait for the market to go with him and then buy it back at even a lower price (whale movements).

Depending on your conclusion, you wouldn't really know. It's best to approach it with what you can do and what you can control. Like being in the market or staying away from it until it dies down.

Fuds are everywhere and act according to the trend which is good for all. But panic users can sell off their coins/tokens if they don't wanna face the huge correction market. Though i'm bearish according to chart for short term, but it's just another great accumulation zone for all and still there is a possibility of rebounding.

The latest news about FUDs is GBTC unlock, some people believe it will make dump.

That's ridiculious Grin, but harsh reality. People don't even try to do research how GBTC share works, but they believe on the rumor that it'll happen and get into fomo. Though it's good for us who use the fear of others to make profits.  Wink

The FBI is not a financial expert and we should not listen to any advice from that department. Those who trade and invest in cryptocurrency should not feel concerned about whatever the FBI days. Listening to them is listening to negative media. They only want to cause panic in the market and get your Bitcoin at cheap price for those who will sell off.

I think the bearish sentiment is clearly seen and felt across markets, and not just limited to crypto and the stock market, I believe only Gold was showing stability today. For me, the best way to avoid the necessary losses because of the continued decrease of crypto prices due to many factors is to convert your portfolios into stable coins/gold so that you save some of your position. actually, I already tried it a couple of times in crypto, and it's effective to me. and I don't know if other users are buying this idea because most of them are willing to hold their cryptocurrencies even the price/value was continuously falling.

Nothing much to do, except to buy more and add to what you already have or sell what you have for fiat or stables coins, just as their are two kinds of ways the market goes which we call Bear - when the market goes down, and Bull - when the market goes up, so also, we have two kinds of people in it, those who see opportunities and take advantage of it and those who see same opportunities and panic, every bear market is an opportunity for investors to buy more or invest in coins they've been waiting for to come down from bull market, the crypto market in general has done really well this year, but some persons still want the market to keep on going up, that's not how a healthy market should works.
