You can start a sub for your business/project and an old trusted account is better for that. You don't have to fill in capachas, you can spam your stuff with near impunity with enough posts in the right subs, you can post far faster in certain subs with an old account, and very old accounts are more collectable and could sell for a lot more 5 years down the line. An account that was a mod in certain subs is even more valuable. As someone who has sold reddit accounts before I can verify that these prices are fair. A 2 yr account for $9 is really a bargain and I am tempted to buy it.
