Despite issues surrounding the parts Vod responded to on his last post [e.g. protection and detection], you can count me in for the testing phase...

Beautiful!  Go ahead and make an elon.report account and send me a bitcointalk.org private message telling me what your username on elon.report is.  I'll let SeeBiscuit know and he will send you an invite to Redivivus.  I know SeeBiscuit will have a few things for you to test out.

Warm regards,
~JusticeSolus

Also,

I'm not defending them or anything but it can also be interpreted that the posts in this forum isn't fully genuine or totally human anymore and that it's possible that they're also talking about the part where the forum has so many signature campaigns running that most people that are a part of it aren't doing the right thing which is taking their time to post and then appreciating a discussion.

You hit the nail right on the head.   Smiley

Can any moderators please lock this thread? 🔒

Everything looked good until I saw this

So OP is inviting people here on Bitcointalk to his platform to try to overthrow Bitcointalk, clearly, he has a misconception about what Bitcointalk is, in the past so many platforms came out with subscriptions so members can enjoy the many benefits of the platforms, all of them are gone now.
I don't think you can get people to leave Bitcointalk to join you on your journey, try spamming other forums.

You got it, boss.

Boss?

1.   I will not be restricting account creation - there are too many ways to cheat.  If a club owner wants to claim detection abilities, that is up to his coding ability.
2.   I am using Stripe for payment processing.    Any funds that are held, are held by Stripe in the highest security.   Neither myself or any club owner can vanish with funds.
3.   I am planning generic forum growth, due to tools and services I will offer.   I am not looking at advertising myself as an alternative to this forum.
4.   All further discussion of my community development will take place in my community.  Smiley

Thank you Cheesy

Hey, now that we have you here on this thread, would you like to join?
Despite issues surrounding the parts Vod responded to on his last post [e.g. protection and detection], you can count me in for the testing phase...

  • To make the offer more enticing, Fil says he has plans to accumulate BTC and distribute it among early users of Redivivus to playtest single satoshi mechanics of facilitating the organic generation of public content.  I'll be contributing to that bankroll as well, so everyone that joins will be able to practice with real satoshis and not feel pressured they are spending their own hard earned satoshis.
    That's a nice way to motivate users, but I think you can utilize Testnet for such things as well [it'd be nice to use my coins while v3 is still here].

You got it, boss.  I'll be sure to update Fil on that when I see him today if he hasn't read it by then.   Smiley

Gunna wait for SFR to respond and see what he says here.  Afterward, I would like if a mod could lock this thread so it fizzles out into the other pages.  Redivivus isn't ending, I just want control over the presence of Redivivus on bct and it's kinda hard to do that if you can't update the project thread.   Sad

As for the protection of funds, that would be left to the developers of elon.report.   Smiley
To answer your question about determining who is real and who is fake, we would have to leave it to elon.report developers.
PS: Fil says Vod is really good at what he does.   Smiley

Hey guys, please don't involve my skills in this.   I offered Fil a place to build a community without having to code all the boring stuff.   I am not involved in his community administration or policies.

@dkbit98

I wouldn't recommend creating new account that acts like a ''friend'' because ban evasion is not allowed by forum rules.

     I am not Filippo Spina.  He is sitting next to me, though.   Smiley

@Lafu:

As dkbit98 has already written looks like after the OP got banned this is a new Account from the same person maybe.

     I am not Filippo Spina.  He is sitting next to me, though.  Smiley

@robelneo:

I'm sure he will learn from this and will do better in his future endeavors, as a developer myself I also learn from my mistakes but if he still reads this thread I urge him to keep up and continue to do what he does best I'm sure he will find a breakthrough project of his own, we are sometimes become impulsive due to our excitement in promoting our project.

     Your kind words mean the world to us.  Thank you.   Cheesy

We did have a peek at the features but a roadmap on where the platform is heading is important, well from here the platform started on the wrong foot, OP should be Bitcointalk friendly because he is trying to get members, OP on his post has a plan to beat Bitcointalk whom he describes as a platform with artificially generated posts.

     This project is in its infancy, treat it like it's a newborn child that can be molded into anything.  Currently, there is no cost to signup and make an elon.report account.  Currently, there is no cost to be invited to or join Redivivus.  Currently, there are no single satoshi mechanics because of how early in the project it is.

@coin-investor:

So OP is inviting people here on Bitcointalk to his platform to try to overthrow Bitcointalk

     Fil wants to ask you if you're trolling or not.   Huh

     Our goal is to aggregate a userbase willing to test out a newfound utilization of bitcoin.  Our goal is to be bitcointalk.org friendly.  Our goals do not include overthrowing the bitcointalk.org forum.  That seems to be a recurring theme when it comes to some people's reaction to this project.  This is not bitcointalk.org 2.0 or anything of that nature.  Fil has described it as a place to play-test a newfound utilization of bitcoin that we think will do the community some good.  That's what we are sticking with.   Smiley

@SFR10:

     Fil wants to tell you that he is seriously happy you showed up like you said.  "What a guy!", he said.   Cheesy

     Anyway,

I don't think it's a good idea to start with the pay-as-you-go route from the beginning... If I were you, I'd give my users some leeway to test my platform and see if it's worth their time, then ask for the above thing after a certain period of time.
- BTW, how is Redivivus planning to protect those staked funds (I do know individually it's not going to be a lot, but collectively, it could grow fast)?

     Wow okay that's actually solid advice.  Mabey when we get some users going we can implement a fake satoshi public action balance display.  Giving users the leeway they want to play-test is a fundamental aspect of videogame development, and I think the same applies here for this play-test.

     As for the protection of funds, that would be left to the developers of elon.report.   Smiley

How will you determine who is/isn't a real user? If one day you end up with a large user base, you have no choice but to go with an automated route, and that's when everything becomes tricky!

This is an ambitious project trying to reinvent the wheel, and there was no mention on OP's thread of who they are and what they are capable of, launching a membership platform is not easy they need prior experience to fix and address issues that come along the way.

    We can use single satoshi's to facilitate the organic generation of public content and combat artificially written posts by requiring users to stake satoshi's to their Redivivus account.

    Every time someone posts, likes, or does anything else that directly effects the public content of the social network will cost 1 singular satoshi. We will then recycle used satoshis back to Redividus users that don't look or appear like bots.

The OP sent me a message saying he is perma-banned from this forum.   Sad

At least we know what happened to OP. But i think it's harsh when spammer with tons of deleted posts almost never receive perma-banned.

I'm a good friend of OP, and contributor to Redivivus.  I'll be back to answer everyone's questions/comments on Friday.

Here's a short comment. Personally i think most people won't bother register when it cost them money to perform action (such as posting) which affect public space.

He can always ask for a second chance and ask moderators to remove ban from his account.
I wouldn't recommend creating new account that acts like a ''friend'' because ban evasion is not allowed by forum rules.

Here is second chances topic:

EDIT: Hey, I'm back.   Cool

@The Sceptical Chymist:

     Unfortunately, since the OP was banned due to sending unsolicited private messages, we really can't do anything about grammatical errors, or anything really for that matter.  Do you know a moderator that can wipe the whole thread?  Or can that moderator lock the thread so it dies out and we can start a new thread when it eventually fizzles out into page 2, 3, etc?

     Also, Fil says he appreciates the kind words about his design style for the thread.   Smiley

these various actions depend on single staked satoshis, but we all know network fees prohibit the sending of probably 50 satoshis (or whatever the number it is).  How is that going to work?

     Amazing question.  I am under the impression, after digesting this whole project in the short time I was given, that the single satoshi mechanics are going to be purely display based.  Think of it like freebitco.in, and the way they display their satoshis.  You can't actually send 1 satoshi back and forth, but you can win, lose, and earn single satoshis.  How does that work?    Wink

@minerjones:

     Hey jones, we actually made the decision to change the plan to mint the NFT's for Project #7777 from Solana to XCP due to your comment.  Thank you!    Cheesy

     Also,

Last I checked (which was in 2020), the minimum amount to send was 547 satoshis....    maybe running on LN?

     I'm not very technical at all when it comes to bitcoin stuff, so I won't even argue with ya there!  Please refer to the answer I gave Chymist about the single satoshi sending and receiving mechanics.

We really don't need another "forum"... this one is already works.
You are trying to fix something that is not broken

     bitcointalk.org is very broken.   Sad

And please stop sending spam PMs to everyone in hopes they will sign up.

     Yes, sir.  Fil's sitting next to me as I write this and he say's he apologizes sincerely.  Honestly, it's better for everyone that he just stays off this forum entirely.

@Apocollapse:

Yeah, the only possible is through LN since in LN they do accept milli-satoshi https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/83475/what-makes-millisatoshi-real

     Wow!   Shocked. So the lightning network is the key to making all of this happen, huh?  Thank you so much for the link, we'll read it over.

@Lafu:

     Lafu, we are terribly sorry for the shitty first-impression.  Fil didn't get a temp ban, he's gone for good (perma-ban) and it's for the best.  He isn't himself when he's on here for too long.

@Vod:

     Hey, boss.  Thanks for clarifying things up for everyone!  Yes, Redivivus is located on Vod's latest project.  This project is a website called The Elon Report.  Redivivus is a club within The Elon Report.

I think the OP is just young, impulsive and idealistic.  Nothing wrong with that.

Well, that's generous of you.  I always tell him he's the smartest dumbass I know.
 Grin

@dkbit98:

I didn't receive any message from him, but in past I did report suspicious messages I received.

     Filippo Spina does not remember making this mistake before, or sending you any PM's in the past.  Could you please elaborate?   Smiley

@robelneo:

he could have placed an invitation for those interested in being part of his social network in his announcement instead of spamming members, not everyone here are fan of social networks so you cannot send unsolicited emails hoping that they will agree to be part of his network.
He should know this as he is an admin of a social network, do you want your members to engage in spamming?

     Very well said, @rob.  Fil literally became the very thing he swore to destroy, which is spamming.   Grin Rest assured, the next time we decide to promote Redivivus on this forum it will be done in a way that follows all the rules.  All of them.   Wink

Thanks for your patience, everyone!

Redivivus is a club in my https://elon.report community, like a subreddit.    The footer you saw is mine.
vod.fan is also something I'm working on.   It's different than the current image hosts, and not meant to compete with them.

To be more accurate it's 546 satoshis for legacy address since 1 input is 148 bytes and 1 output is 34 bytes, so (148+34)*3= 546. In on-chain, the lowest is native segwit address since we can send 294 satoshis.

This might be seen as nitpicking, but:

Correct homonym: "affects".

Now then, I like the Kid Icarus styling and the fine writing, but what's this thing that's been so heavily redacted?  And I must admit it is far past my bedtime and my mind is like a meaty cylinder of dog food plopped straight out of the can, and thus I might have missed the answer to my question, which is: these various actions depend on single staked satoshis, but we all know network fees prohibit the sending of probably 50 satoshis (or whatever the number it is).  How is that going to work?

I absolutely get the logic behind this as far as combating AI-generated posts, but I'm skeptical as to how it'll play out when launched and just how enthusiastic people will be about another forum that's very much like this one.

And lol, I looked at your feedback and don't know what to think exactly.  This doesn't look like PM spam to me, just personal invites (depending on how many you actually sent).  I'm curious to see what LoyceV has to say, assuming he chimes in here.

Why will the NFTs be on Solana if this is supposed to be a bitcoin based site?
At least use XCP so they can be compatible with the Bitcoin blockchain.

Discussion encouraged!

Redivivus invitations will be sent out to various forum users of my choosing.

If you do not receive an invitation and want to join, just send me a private message so I can give you details on how to join.

Redivivus is in the "Pre-Alpha" Stage of development.

No, Redivivus isn't a game that's in development.

However, pre-alpha is a good way to describe where it is at right now. I am focused on building a userbase first, before more features are added.
