The Federal Government is on its way out altogether. The State governors have joint meetings at several times a year. This has been going on for some time. Outside of federal financing, the Federal  Government  has been getting in their way for a long time now.

I accept the puppet Joe Biden as our 'president' as it took plenty of dark money to get him in. He lets his new subjects in from the southern border while his current subjects are forced to stay locked down and follow the new 'rules'. Meanwhile the nobleman Obama gets to celebrate with many people when if anyone else were to do that they would be criticized. "One rule me not for thee" is the theme of the Biden administration hypocrisy at its finest. I think I need to start to identify as an illegal alien billionaire then I can get away with more and not have to deal with these things called rules. Looks like many parts of the country will be paying between 4-10 dollars for gas since we have to import more oil. Prices for everything are going up. Certain things can't be found because no one wants to work or the materials can't be sourced. If anything it feels like our infrastructure just got bombed while they write their checks for themselves from the Infrastructure bill. Sounds like Biden is doing a good job lets just gush for him like the mainstream media does on a daily basis and accept our lot as neo-feudal slaves to the system. We're just stuck in Biden's Paradise.

I have posted before that I opposed Trump's decision to withdraw from Afghanistan. I don't think Trump would do something as reckless as continue a withdrawal as the Taliban reneges on its peace deal, and starts to take over major parts of the country.

US troop losses have been low since 2015, and if anything, American troop presence was a deterrence to the Taliban (somewhat similar to a wall). American troops have not recently seen a lot of combat in Afghanistan, and most of our resources were spent in training the Afghanistan military.

The US has military bases in Germany (and throughout Europe), and in Japan, over 70 years after winning its second consecutive World War. A similar point can be made about our military presence in South Korea. Afghanistan is not as close of an ally to the US as these other countries are, but the point remains that the US has maintained a military presence throughout the world for decades.

I don't think anyone can defend Biden's decision in good faith. Even the left-wing media is describing the situation as "Biden's Saigon".

Who would have thought that one of Biden's first acts as President would be to lose a war in which US troops were seeing nearly zero active conflict?

If Trump had done something similarly reckless, I would be calling for his removal from office.

Blah blah blah.  If he didn't withdraw the troops you'd be crying about him reversing Trumps decision to withdraw from Afghanistan and continuing the forever war.

There is no easy answer to the middle east, it's just not as simple as you think.

Biden’s decision to withdraw from Afghanistan is probably the worst decision that any American president has made in history. The fact that American troops have withdrawn has allowed the Taliban to what looks like will take over the entire country with minimal resistance. The US is burning sensitive papers, and communication devices in its embassy to prevent our secrets being given to our enemies. We are sending thousands of troops to help with the evacuation of diplomatic personnel.

All this is after spending hundreds of billions of dollars and loosing tens of thousands of American lives to defeat the Taliban. IMO, both Biden and Harris should be removed from office over this. I would not be surprised if Biden’s decision to pull out results in a 9/11 style attack.

I don’t think that Biden has ever made a Foreign policy decision or recommendation that would benefit the US.

I said short term. Do we really know how large the effect a provision in the bill from the US is going to affect the markets? No, so you can't attribute the recent rise in price as a reaction to whatever is in this infrastructure bill, because it's not anything completely destabilizing. Seems like it's just excess taxing for whatever they want to define as a crypto "broker", and the definition is probably something they pulled out of their ass, like most American politicians. Large spending bill would be amiss if it didn't have something like this, of course.


I don't actually know how Bitcoin's going to do under Biden. It's always the question, how large is the grip that the US economy has over the crypto world. Could they tank it if they wanted to? Sure, are some minor (or major) regulations here or there going to make a huge difference? Probably not, after all, the US the largest economic force, but only one economic force.

But if the price of bitcoin was down, it would assuredly be the democrats' fault.  

Meanwhile Sleepy Joe has yet to say peep about Bitcoin while Trump bashes it on his days off.


I don't know how you could possibly arrive at this conclusion given what you stated above, about the lack of alternate reality to judge it by thing.

In the short term, it increases regulatory certainty. In the long term, it increases regulatory certainty. These are things that tame the crypto market and make it investable for the big wigs. Not saying thats what crypto should be all about, but it does help the number go up.

What you've done is fudded up bipartisan legislation to make it predictably a Biden Bad thing; the circuitous route of saying Biden Bad For Bitcoin even though Bitcoin has been doing quite well. Doesn't make sense.

Well we won't actually know for certain the long term effects of all this because there isn't an alternate reality that we have to measure the crypto growth without the bill. It's not going to be good for business for sure in the long term, short term, who knows how the market will react.

Basically, increased regulation to generate tax revenue that might be targeting miners or 3rd party platforms. They say in the press report above that they want to amend the bill to relieve some of the burdens on these intermediaries so that they don't have to file with the IRS or owe any tax burden.
