Bitcoin Suisse - Physical Bitcoin/Crypto Certificates - Series II

Following up on our 2014 Series of high quality paper wallets / physical bitcoin/crypto 'bills', we have released a Series II :

Similar to the original 2014 series, the certificates are high quality 'paper wallets' complete with key pairs, and thus not IOU's or a claim against any 3rd party. They are thus what is called 'physical bitcoin' which is a wallet, where the private key is hidden until accessed, and where accessing it leaves clear visible traces on the wallet, a concept first mass produced by Casascius / Mike Caldwell in his famous series of various coins issued between 2009 and 2013 (and by us since 2014). This makes them usable for being passed between 3rd parties, but does naturally also introduce the problem of '3rd party generated keys'.

Unlike the original version, the Series II covers several crypto-assets in multiple denominations. It is produced in a banknote quality, contains great number of security features and involve Swiss notaries on the auditing side of the generation, handling and destruction of the private keys, ensuring that each certificate contains the ONLY version of the private key associated with it.

For those interested, they can be ordered the the Bitcoin Suisse - Online platform https://online.bitcoinsuisse.com

Too bad they strip out any mention of accepting bitcoin or any alternative payment options on the auction pages. Reference links to the site published are also taken out there. Featured below are

Cryptofrac 1 gram cold storage wallet

(image sourced via cryptofrac website)

"In 2013 we came up with a concept to produce the worlds first loaded Satoshi coin. Ricky is fascinated with etymology and was frustrated to find out that there was not a word for fractional cryptocurrency only the term which is ‘fractional cryptocurrency’ therefore the word Cryptofrac was born. We wanted to tie in the smallest weighted silver coin which, is 1 gram, with the smallest denomination with Bitcoin, which is a Satoshi. This was also the year that Bitcoin broke through the $100 mark. The design of the coin was created by Shelley and the main message was to visually show the death of the dollar and to bring Satoshi to life.

The project hit a glitch when we found out that the coins needed to be 1/10th of a troy ounce to accommodate the Bitcoin tamper proof hologram. Ricky’s business at that point started to become successful and we decided that he would dedicate his time to that and still invest in Bitcoin. We minted the 2,000 coins we originally choose although due to the size of the coin we were not able to load them. These are now are promos for our next venture."
