Hey, can referral link be falsified in to a malicious thing? My friend got a referral link and it looks sketchy

• You’re eligible to receive 10% of every token purchase made by your referral over the next 7 days after he clicked your referral link
• You will receive your commission in Ether (ETH)
• Commission are paid at the end of every month
• You can keep track of your referrals and see how many ETH you’ve earned from their purchases
