Wow can't believe I'm only one married with kids. By the way you people married with no kids, take the plunge!  You might as well after a few honeymoon years. You'll never think you're "ready" for kids, there is no ideal time!

To be fair, I'm the only one married without kids Smiley

I think it depends more on how comfortable they are with having kids, if you get what I'm saying. Just randomly taking a plunge could possibly end in something with a complete hellspawn (Think of the current 'demons' of the world, type.) or a angel. Of course, there's no way to see in the future, so it's like a Hi-Lo type of game. Except, there's no Lo's or Hi's.

The welfare system in place encourage irresponsible behavior.

So, if you are depended on government on handout, then have as many kids as you can.

If you are paying everything on your own, then you need to have stable income and stable relationship before even thinking about having offspring.

No, if you want your kids to succeed in the future, you need to have a stable income. Stable relationship isn't required to have an offspring, really.

As for the government handouts, the welfare system is in place for the kids, not the adults. Would you rather have a few abusers of the system, or kids that are literally starving to death?

i'd rather be single with kids than to have a husband that is irresponsible and immature.

I'll be your man-child. Or we can just have kids and I'll move on my own separate way. Let me know which path you wanna take and let's get this rolling!

Why not both? I'm pretty irresponsible. My wife constantly cleans up after my messes.

Don't have kids until you have at least $500k in "stable" assets (after debts) or have >$250k in assets and >$60k/yr income from a single person in the relationship. They cripple earning power, especially if you don't have a high-paying job and or are unwilling to stuff them into daycare. I've learned this from experience. Not saying I regret it, but circumstances were far below ideal for conception.

decent advice

I live in a pretty low cost of living area, so I was planning on having only about $150k in assets with at least an income of $45k/year. But I'll take into account your advice.

It is complicated with 2 kids.

Want to explain your status a bit more? I was hoping for longer stories. NSA is having my log a certain amount of information per day and all. Just trying to keep my job Wink

4 kids, but 6 different mothers. :/
At this point, it's not their problem, it's your problem. Sure, after the first marriage / arrangement, it could be both parties' fault. The second one, odds are leaning towards your fault. But after the 6th, jesus christ, something is wrong with YOU.

clearly something is wrong if it takes 6 mothers (not wives) to make 4 kids!

do you understand basic biology and reproduction?

fuck... i was trolling you, and i thought it was clear as fucking day...

I figured the kids died due to your neglect. There I go again, making assumptions.

it is a bit of an assumption. anyway have fun reporting to you masters.
