Good news, ANACS coins shipped today. (Other than some may be holding per other reasons or per members requests).

I find it interesting how coins from the same batch, same handling, etc can get such a wide range of grades. I would have thought they wouldn't deviate too much. I'm curious what graders see that makes such a difference.
He did say most were on the upper end, so maybe it's just 1 or 2 that had less of a lustre as it was minted. I don't know, just taking a guess.
I also find it a little puzzling about the grading process. I have spoken in detail with ANACS and they state ea coin goes thru 2 departments for final grade and is seen by different eyes. I think it really could also be more of how a coin is handled than minting process, which minting is normally pretty consistent I would think. If you consider the coins are human handled for packaging into airtites, taken from capsules, hand applied holograms, and then put back in capsules.
Really any ones guess, lol

1-20 and #100 are currently in grading department as of last Friday per email confirmation from them. I anticipate receipt back by end of this week hopefully and will update thread asasp once I have shipping confirmation.
