Nabasa ko to sa Facebook Pages nila at ngayon lang di. Pag bukas ko ng application. 

Sa tingin ko iwasan nalang natin mag open sa browser ng coins.ph o kaya naman ay kung hindi maiiwasan palaging e check ang browser para alam tayo ay nakakasigurado na legit website ang pinupuntahan natin,  lalo na sa mga newbie dapat talaga mag Ingat..

Tripleng ingat po tayo mga kababayan sa pagclick ng links na promo daw etc, lalo kung may credit card ka, maraming mga magtetext or mageemail din sayo na mga phishing links kaya don't open na lang, kapag may promo, tinatanong ko na lang online, much better, pag naconfirm kung may ganito silang promo doon lang ako nagtatake action.

Yes, I just saw that reminder from coins.ph earlier this morning. At dun sa mga hindi pa naka 2FA, mukang mandatory na to sa kanila ngayon. Perhaps may nag report na nga ng mga phishing links na naglipana ngayong pagpasok ng taon. Kaya konting ingat at alam naman nating ang daming cyber criminals at ngayon target na rin ang local exchanges natin.

Kawawa nanaman yung mga newbie na nabiktima/mabibiktima palang ng ganitong modus Sad Karamihan kasi sa ating mga pinoy basta libre/gift na tulad ng ganyan kumakagat agad di na inaalam kung scam ba o hindi tapos kapag na scam isisisi nanaman sa crypto haha pero kung titignan naman yung text message halata namang scam na pero yun nga madami talaga kakagat na mga newbie jan, salamat sa thread mo na to bossing para na din mabasa ng iba na hindi pa nakikita/nababasa ang warning ng coins.ph

Hello guys just wanted to inform you that there is a text messages spreading from CoinsPh regarding a christmas gift. Please all beware that the link is actually a direct link to a phishing site. Ive just grab the photo from Facebook on my crypto groups. Hope no one here will be victimized of this new scam.


Yun , atleast nag ka idea yung iba kung anong klaseng message ung sinisend nila. Nagkaka gipitan na daw kasi sa bear market kaya ung mga hacker kanya kanyang diskarte makapambiktima lang at makapag nakaw ng coins ng iba.

Edi ibig sabihin nagagaya nila ang coins.ph talaga in terms sa messaging? hindi lang basta number kung pangalan ng coins.ph ang mag aappear? So kailangan talagang mag ingat hindi na biro ito kapag nabiktima ka dahil wallet na ang nakasalalay dito.

For sure meron na namang nabiktima ang mga ganyang modus lalo na mga baguhan, pero mainam narin na naglabas ng warning ang coins.ph para makaiwas ang mga posibleng mabiktima pa ng mga scammers. Stay cautious and always verify everything pagdating sa financial matter online.

Nabasa ko din itong reminder na to from coins.ph wallet app. Madami pa nman ngayon scammer lalo na sa facebook at madami dn nmng mabilis mabiktima
ng mga ganitong attempt dahil pera ang pinaguusapan. Mas better if mag post ka din ng separate sa official coins.ph thread para in-line sa topic nila since
hindi na nmn naguupdate yung coins.ph representative dito. BTW, Kudos sa paggawa ng warning thread na to.

I am not sure if someone already posted this but I just received a message(photo below) from coins.ph about people sending SMS messages pretending to be coins.ph if you receive an SMS and asks you to follow the link be advised that the person who sent that SMS is not coins.ph and is trying to phish your account. mag ingat be cautious! thanks!
