I think most of us is holding what coin we have now because holding is the best we can do right now because of this bearish market. And I think it's a great time to buy if we have extra money.
I'm not holding for the money anymore. Personally, for me, Bitcoin has turned something like the turkish gold liras, something valuable to keep for the long term and pass it to my kids, so that after 100 years they will have something really valuable in their hands. Being that there will only be 21 million BTC's, this works on my side.
Yes even to risky we still keep holding and keeping patient for the future rising. If you buy when the value is high don't sell now because the value is low so that try to invest more and keep holding because falling is not permanent but soon or soonest it will rise again so we keep holding.
Definitely true believers of bitcoin are hodling till the end of time.

I've been holding my coins too for quite some time. We must have patience. Only patient will be able to wait for profit. But to try new ways of earning crypto currency will also be useful.
I basically considered the HODL as the main strategy of earning with bitcoin. Before buying my first coins, I studied a lot of ifnomrations on the forums, and everyone said one thing - long-term investment is the most profitable strategy for earning.
I agree with you. The best strategy for bitcoin is hodl. Therefore, patience is the main thing that we need to invest in bitcoin. I continue to keep him and believe that he will rise again.
Time to buy more BTC as it dumps again reaching around $3.5k. Not all having in patient will bring us good but it sometimes it more losses though. When the price started to rise(even above their buying price) some holders just keep it to hold cause they aiming for more but they regrets when it fall again. There is a money on that time but they lost it cause they are too greedy. Satisfaction is really hard especially in money, the situation is to hard and we take advantage in every single chances even we only raise small amount of money.
The position of the market is now very deplorable and in any case it is not necessary to sell your coins now to still remain profitable. So I like most of the investors are Hodlers.

well, congratulations! Hodling is good as long as you are not yet in need of what you are hodling. the reason we hold, invest and wait is for us to profit good, why? because we need "MONEY". if we dont benefit at all then must be the time to find other solutions.
I just wanted to say that I'm one of the hodlers. Maybe 5 years from now I'll make a screenshot of my post in this thread frame it and put it on the wall as a reminder among other great choices I made in life. I hope it will be something to be proud of. I wonder how many of the people who held in 2013 when the original thread was made kept holding until now.
Now we have no choice but to continue the HODL. The price of bitcoin has really fallen very much, but we will tolerate and not sell our coins, hoping to earn in the future. Patience to all of us!
Buying more at this moment is good option. In this bear market, i am believe its good opportunity buying bitcoin because with more big financial institution involve in this market, bitcoin price will rising. Holding is best option if we want make big profits in near future

Do you know why we keep holding our bitcoins? it is now proven that we can increase our investment through holding but there are risks in the strategy of holsing because not all of time we can earn profit from holding. We are HODLING!!

Long-term investing, or as it is often called hodl, is my initial strategy of earning with bitcoin. I think this is the way you can really make something in cryptocurrency. Therefore, I advise everyone to keep their bitcoins and not to sell them, especially in such a difficult period for its value.
To be honest, I prefer not even watching the price of bitcoin. Of course, I am constantly aware of its cost, but not paying much attention to it. I understand that bitcoin will fluctuate in price for a long time, but I immediately counted on it as a long-term investment. So now the price for me does not matter much.
It looks like we don't have other alternatives than holding coins which decrease every single day. There always will be opportunities to grab but this year was horrible for those who addicted to cryptocurrency trading. I hope one day in future i will remember this days as joke.
Unfortunately, we have no choice but to keep our investments. Price went down very low and sell the bitcoin at a value it's foolhardy, so whether we like it or not, but we hodling.

It is the good option and good decision to hold as of now. The value is getting lower nowadays so better we can can hold for few weeks so that the value rises again and will be able to see the changes in the market to gain some good profit by holding. Hope for the good days to come soon..
