Well did you open a scam accusation thread? Did you use escrow? Did you do any thinking at all before sending this asshole your money? I wont go as far as to say it serves you right, but you need to be smarter. Don't trust anyone on this forum. The dude above me said it best: accounts are bought and sold all the time and it's a shitty practice. You don't know who you're dealing with. Hell even if you do know, they could still scam.

Dont trust anybody on this forum, even the green trusted accounts. Accounts are bought and sold everyday on this forum. And trusted members have been known to scam large amounts of bitcoins. Always use escrow no matter how cumbersome and time consuming it may seem. It will save you a lot of pain in the long run. Obviously the op has been scammed, and I doubt he will ever get his money back.

Take it as learning lesson to never accept PayPal from anyone without any significant trade history of such deals without completing full verification.

It is likely that either 1) He was operating on a hacked account, or 2) He charged back with his own account for his own benefit. Either of these scenarios make this person extremely untrustworthy and a scammer that nobody should deal with.

Kudos to OP for providing proof instead of accusing baselessly. I think this is an obvious scam, and DT members should tag accordingly.

It's not over yet - as aadje93 said you still have a chance with winning the paypal dispute even though paypal has a history of siding with the sender. However if he used a hacked account then you have no chance, because it was indeed an unauthorised transaction. GL.
