If the value of the collateral goes below the repayment amount or the percentage agreed by the both parties then the lender can sell the collateral amount. But if the borrower can provide more collateral then there is no reason to sell the collateral. If the price of collateral increase and borrower wants to get back few collateral then that is okay or the borrower can wait (if not necessary) until the repayment.

Which is why in post number two I said:

BTC 0.001 of each would be approx 335.  So, rule of thumb, 125% of amount borrowed/risk would be approx 421 of each you would be offering as collateral.

The OP agreed to that.

No problem , send me wallet

how is collateral managed if its value drops below loan value, or perhaps increases substantially.

Hash of a comment I'm making, just not yet revealing .. af65d29... nevermind, I rest my case

Be careful, they are already trying to write you down as a scammer, just like they wrote me down. It is better not to answer them, because it will not lead to anything good

Classic.. I'm kind of with you there. We're on a forum that's basically one about money. High alert; we all are on here.

Out of curiosity: why not use an instant exchange instead? Fixedfloat would have given you 0.0015 Bitcoin for 520 Doge. Then, 2 days from now, you can swap 0.002 Bitcoin back for about 650 Doge. Unless you expect Doge to drop more than 20% in 2 days, that would have been a better deal.
In addition to that the interest given in this trade is insanly high (32% for only 2 days).

This whole thing is just weird..

It's not weird, it's trust farming.  The newbie is hoping to get positive feedback for repaying this loan, which will propel him on his way for an exit scam...  Interestingly enough all his posts so far have been in lending or currency exchange.  Not unlike another recently red-tagged would-be loan scammer.

Good afternoon, first of all, all the misunderstandings are ridiculous. I asked for a loan because I need it, but according to the rule, it is to have the guarantee and I offered it.

Now if they say why not change the doges to btc it is because the price of btc is not stable and I still have more doges

I don't care if I gain trust or not, I'm just doing things the right way.

If they are going to put me under surveillance, there is no problem, they can do it

It's more I like to help the community

Indeed, there is a possibility to be a case of trust farming. Still, the oldest members here know that this ain't going to happen from my side. At least so easily. Cool

EDIT: @PalermoMoon: Still waiting for your DOGE address to return the collateral...

Yeah makes no sense to trust farm - especially once heat is on in the form of forum eyes.. So every attempt is kind of a win-win for abusers. Worst case, account tagged; move to next.

Trust farming is much easier in Collectibles than in lending.

Excuse me, but that is what I can offer to lenders, each one has their own criteria and the important thing is that I comply with the rules to obtain a loan

I can cover it if Timelord2067 doesn't want to.

I went to bed after making the first post, so I missed doing the trade.  I probably would have stipulated 48 hours from when the funds were provided,

In addition to that the interest given in this trade is insanly high (32% for only 2 days).

The repayment amount would cover any nominal TX fees in this instance.

Nicely executed. Borrowers: this is how collateral is used (if you trust the lender to send first, as was the case here). I would encourage one stipulation re: how is collateral managed if its value drops below loan value, or perhaps increases substantially.
