I looked through the greyed out (for me) thread he started, and I see a lot of merits were awarded in that thread. Should merits be awarded for posts that encourage posting masturbation?

I've taken him off ignore to see if anything changed and maybe this year he is getting his inspiration from a different supplier but even for him, the last three were pure garbage, I've got bored after a paragraph.

I have no idea what he said right there...


But you guys get my support on at least a tempban as he has not changed or improved since his last "vacation".

Compare that to the amount of completely pissed off people that someone can blatantly derail threads and bring nothing substantial to the table; in the same period of time....


A temp ban will give him some time-out time so he can re-evaluate his behavior,  again.

He should definitely be banned. He should have been banned months ago. Take a look at his post history. Not one actual meaningful contribution. Certainly nothing insightful about bitcoin, the blockchain or cryptocurrency. Over a thousand posts of trolling and spewing vile hatred. He didn't change anybody's mind about anything. He didn't have an impact on anything.

If it's hard for us to ban system wide harmful trolls like korner and co and some others who just damage and try to misuse the system to create chaotic situations, I dont even think anyone here has anything under there ass too say what TOAA abused instade of using his freedom of speech for asking pokey questions.

I mean the VERY LAST THING we want to do is accuse valuable honest members of things they HAVE NOT DONE, that would be clearly wrong and certainly grounds (when they are proven incorrect which they should be since they are relating to things they have posted here and people can verify) for some form of public punishment at the least as a deterrent to stop them doing it again.

Well, but he haven't done anything to get permanent ban. Temp ban - yes, it's an option. Here we have freedom of speech and permanently banning biggest trollds just would give a reason like Ver to scream about censorship on Bitcointalk.
People like TOAA, game-protect, Bitcoin SV and other is annoying as fuck, but there is no enough reasons to ban them permanently. Ignore button is only solution now.

I've had him on ignore  for months. I can't remember what prompted that, but it doesn't look as if I have missed anything by ignoring him. I'm surprised that more people don't use the ignore feature if his posting annoys them.

Ass for the assclown dicklicker that is TOAA I fully support any ban. Minimum of 6 weeks preference for Nuke, anyone can bring what they want to this place, but the continued onslaught of shit against any member of DT or anyone who speaks against them is just stupid

I was alerted to thread about me thanks to Loyce's notification service. I have no intention of responding to it for three main reasons (detailed below). Indeed, I haven't even read it as he remains firmly on ignore. I'm sure if there were any serious concerns about my conduct on the forum they would be raised by a reputable user.

Firstly, no matter what you say, no matter what evidence or proof you provide, it will never be enough. There is nothing you can say to win an argument against a troll like this. Evidence will be denied, goalposts will be shifted, new claims will be fabricated. You are wasting your time trying.

Secondly, I don't care what he thinks or says about me. I have zero respect for this user. If someone reputable has concerns with my behavior, I'd be more than happy to address them openly and in a mature manner.

Thirdly, and most importantly, as I've said many times before: "Don't feed the troll". I can appreciate the frustration and annoyance, but every reply to him is the attention he so desperately craves. Starve him of attention - no replies, no anger, no new threads, just every one of his threads with zero replies and every post which is off topic being ignored or reported - and this will end. The continued collective outrage is his raison d'être.

Now, in terms of a ban, making frivolous allegations is not ban worthy. We absolutely shouldn't be punishing people for saying things we don't like, even if those things are outright lies. What is ban worthy is him derailing multiple threads with the same off topic nonsense. This behavior specifically impacts on the ability of other forum members to use the forum for its intended purpose, and if after many of his posts being deleted for this reason and being given warnings he still continues with this, then a temporary ban in the first instance is entirely appropriate in my opinion.

It used to piss me off but in the grand scheme of things the presence of idiots like CH doesn't really take away from my enjoyment of the forum.

The only not-so-harmless aspect of his incessant trolling is the potential negative impression of the forum it creates for new members. But then again, this forum always had a sink-or-swim approach to newbies, up to and including not giving them a link to forum rules. So encountering a troll or two or a dozen and learning to ignore them is just part of becoming a bitcoiner I guess.

Agree on a longer Temp Ban to cool him down.
The other problem with that is when he come back i guess it will gets more worst as it already is now.

Every thread he opens ends up for going at Tman , Lauda , yogg and all the others that he write in every thread !

As suchmoon  has written a few times dont feed him , its an endless story with him !
