It's 240 and if my calculations are corrrect, it will take you 9 months or more than that to rank up to a Sr. member but you must do continuous posting to achieve that.

I really have high respect to those higher ranks like sr. member to legendary. 240 activities is at least 7 months or more, imagine the patience and determination these guys have. And also how much they already learned from reading this forum for 7 months or more. I just became a jr. member and man, it really feels like forever LoL. I was really hoping to someday get high rank.

Those Reply That  I Have Read Makes Sense to me at all that Ranking Takes Time and We Just have to be patient and stay still and Enjoy.
What I really Get and Understand about Ranking Is you should Multiply by two of your posts equivalent to your rank.
2 x 30 is 60 so your position is: Member
2 x 60 is 120 so your position is : Full Member so forth and so on.

Hello guys. Can I ask if is there limitation of post per day? If there is, how many post are required per day. Also, in what particular category should I post? Or in any category is open for post?

I notice on this forum that there are a lot of people infatuated in gaining the next rank. The ranking is based on time and activity, it is such a great way really to appoint a ranking system. No matter how you work it there is only one way to gain the next rank.

How many activities does it take to be a sr. member??

It is still a bit too early for you to be thinking about the sr.member rank. But it ain't bad. Everyone wants to rank higher in this forum and be able to learn and earn a lot. But the thing you need to realize is that learning is more important here than earning. Engage into discussions and learn a lot while earning a bit in the process. Besides, you won't be get anything more than 14 activity every 14 days anyways. And can get banned by spamming for the sake of campaigns. So better be interested more in knowledge than how much you can earn in this forum. Because it will come eventually.

How many activities does it take to be a sr. member??

240 < activity

By the way mvillar you should not post simple numbers to a reply its helpful but you should atleast make it constructive dont post things like that you should post more than that someone might report you or the moderator can see this and delete it due to low quality post you made.

Why do you think it's a low quality post? There was a question, and you could easily  infer from it that the OP already knew what activity was, so I gave a precise answer to his question. Verbosity is overrated.

It takes a whole lot of time before you can even get to 240 activities though the effort that you have put into each and every post that you have done is all worth it in the end. If you finally get to that position , the chance of earning a higher pay will increase and then you'll get the opportunity of joining certain campaigns that only require high ranking participants to join.

what type of campaigns are we talking about???  Shocked
Yeah! What campaigns for example?

Signature campaign get more stakes if you have higher rank.
There's so many bounty, but sometimes some bounty ask minimum jr member to join their campaign

You would be required more 185 activities ( your current act : 55) to become a senior member as the required activities counts for senior member are 240. Be active on this forum, keep posting constructive post regularly. All the best for you.

Why is it important to get Sr rank?

it's green light for bounties, posting ANN and another potential profitable activity.

You can't post an ANN thread without being Sr?
You can post an ANN thread with any rank but newbie can't post link or image.

    240 Activity: Sr. Member
    480 Activity: Hero Member
    775-1030 Activity (random): Legendary

Need to be active like what others told you but you must remember that you should post or make flood post in one day because you might be ban like other told me due to spam post. Also it takes 1 yr to be a sr. Member to a legendary. So my suggestion is you should make 5 or 6 and depends how your campaign make the rules of posting. Like 20 in one week 3or 4 and 5 post in day .
Why is it important to get Sr rank?

You got your answer here but I would like to suggest....

As for a sr. Member sometimes you get paid higher than a full member but still depends on the campaign if it successful or depends on the participants but sure you get paid high but not hight than the legendary rank.

You need to be active, make post on bitcointalk, reply, answer questions. It will take some time...
Here is all information about activity and more

if you don't know how activity is calculated, read those postshttps://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/the-definitive-explanation-of-how-activity-works-495948 https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/til-activity-does-not-work-on-precisely-2-week-intervals-interval-timings-582736
The activity number is determined in this way:
time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
activity = min(time * 14, posts)

Activity is updated every hour.

In addition to posting, you also have to wait a certain amount of time to go up in rank. Every two weeks you can get up to 14 activity points.

All you need is be active every day to get to sr. member. You must get to 240 activites, by then, you'll become a senior member. Be sure to try making post as constructive and meaningful as possible so you can easily get accepted when you join campaigns. You'll also learn more as you interact with other people. Smiley Goodluck
