This gave me a laugh lmao. They just need ng proper arrangements ng randomness nung survey nila. Take into account na may Luzon Visayas Mindanao ang PH, tas may iba ibang cities and regions pa ang bawat isa. Yun ang need nila itake into account, not you joining their survey.

The title of the article pretty much sums up everything about the ultimate finding of the research. "Research Finds PH Crypto Holders are 45 – 54 Yrs Old, Employed, and has a PhD or Master’s Degree"

With all due respect, I doubt if the finding is truly reflective of the real cryptocurrency situation of the country, the age range in particular as well as the educational level. The finding says that 53% of the entire country's crypto holders have either a master's or doctoral degree. This is hard to believe.
There's actually a high chance na yung percentage ng 45-54 ay accurate, but the rest aren't. PhD and Master's degree holders basically participate in investing already since they are pretty much studying and working, while earning money. With nothing to spend on, investing would be the way right? So in a sense, it could be called true. Just that medyo biased siguro yung survey nila

Mostly kasi ng ganyang edad wala masiyado knowledge about sa crypto currency.
Yung mga kakilala mo lang siguro, or maybe just a general consensus? But madalas sa mga may ganyang edad, lalo na yung mga mayayaman, is knowledgeable about a lot of things. Especially since wala na silang mapagsend ng time nila, so basically, go with the flow na lang learning a lot of things. Plus, crypto is a great investment where you do absolutely nothing and just wait, perfectly fitting since sa age nila, di na rin nila kaya gumawa ng strenous activities.

This is a good reference, pero hindi natin masasabi na close to specific number ang survey.

To note, ang millenials (ages 18 - 20 rn) ay masyadong malikot isip, maraming alam. Especially since by their teenage years, naopen up na sa kanila yung internet world. Not saying na better ang younger sa older, but just mas naopen agad yung younger people.

As for the survey, If 1k lang talaga yung mga taong nainterview hindi ba masyadong small? If you were to take into account the vast majority of regions sa PH, plus yung age brackets, I have to wonder anong qualifications ng participants nila para makasama. And if random survey lang to, san nila to pinakalat? Like if sa luzon lang yan, it still wouldn't really give out accurate info, PLUS, Luzon is still pretty big.

According palang sa survey yan.

The thing about this survey what I shocked the most is the age bracket, 18-24 years old has 19% which is pretty much low on my expectation, Halos lahat ng kakilala ko is nasa age bracket na ganyan, I think kaya ganyang age bracket yung mga kakilala ko kasi nasa loob din niyan ang age ko.

This kind of survey is quiet confusing on my side and I got curious kung paano nila ito nagawa considering na decentralized market ito and they can't even know the exact gender and age of the real user. Pero gayon pa man, natutuwa akong makita na halos magkapantay and babae at lalaking investors which can be the proof na aggressive den talaga ang women in terms of investing. Philippines ay isa sa mga may maluwag na policy when it comes to cryptocurrency, malaking bagay ito kaya mas mataas ang volume naten in terms of users kumpara sa ibang bansa.

I doubt that in that young age halos sa kanila panay gastos pa hindi muna iniisip ang pag-iipon, although at that age range I'm sure most of them are aware of cryptocurrencies. Kung napapansin mo around age range 45-54 ang may pinaka daming holders because they probably think that is the best investment at malamang less gastos na for the family. Overall, the survey looks like have an accurate result.

The finding says that 53% of the entire country's crypto holders have either a master's or doctoral degree. This is hard to believe.

The article does not show the actual questionnaire. Neither does it indicate how long it would probably take for a respondent to answer all questions properly. But I guess it significantly affected the data gathered that all the 1,000 sample respondents are taken online. That is a significant factor why the finding says that 74% of the respondents are saying that they have heard of cryptocurrency. They are not scattered wide enough, therefore not an honest representation of the general population of the country. It is highly probable for a person who is highly exposed to the online world to be familiar with crypto than someone who is not. And because all the data gathering was made online, the result would naturally tend to be high.

Another point, a respondent, especially if this is an unpaid survey, who would last long enough to read all the questions and answer them one by one until the end is probably one who is highly educated. I doubt if one who is just browsing and enjoying the web would even take it.
