Try to squeeze the entries in 16x16 pixels size and you see what it will look on coinmarketcap. Yes, a logo has to work on all scales. Also additional texts, backgrounds and graphics are not the essence of a logo, they only distract the focus from what is essential. A logo must be strong and recognisable itself, as is. Preferably stand out from 100+ unreadable round coin variations you can see on coinmarketcap for example.
