Got it. Can't somebody else help me in the meantime? Verifying this shouldn't take long.

The message means nothing with a tie to the account.

I have already given a proof about this BTC address's tie to my account. Please check my original post.

Hey, has someone seen this request??

The bitcoin address you used to sign is not tied to the account you want restored. The process to get an account restored is very simple. Send theymos a single PM that contains a link or PM ID where the address can be found. If its a link to a post the message must be unedited. If its a PM ID, it must not have been deleted by sender or receiver (one to keep it is enough). If you have such a link or PM ID, send a signed message in the required fashion[1] and your account will eventually get restored. Posting proof publicly may results in users from default trust to mark the account during the process to avoid further harm (mainly to other users).

With all that being said, keep in mind that theymos might not restore an account regardless because they have more information than we.

I have already sent the PM to theymos. Waiting for his reply for the past 12 hours.

Get comfortable, it often takes weeks, sometimes months. IIRC you can resend the PM weekly, but you should make sure that its as described above.

verified. this will only work if your account and the_poet's didn't deleted the message containing the address yet

No need for that. I remember I posted the transaction link when I got scammed a month back. Here is the link - https://blockchain.info/tx/dd73beee77f5cbd9109fc384286fd0da3f3fc77e4d4012dd785b3144fcb800ae

Here is that post by me (Check "proof of payment") - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/orryde-hero-member-scammed-me-off-100-in-btc-1500637

I think this should be enough proof that the BTC address is indeed mine. Thanks.

I have mentioned my BTC address in some of my messages. I can sign that address and admins can take a look at my messages to verify. Won't that work?

Post here the links of your old posted address in some of your post then provide some sign message.

We are not theymos but someone, at least a staff, can verify if you are providing facts here.

If you want to get your account recovered then you may want to sign a message using one of your old address from an unedited post.

I have never publicly posted my BTC address. Is there any other way? Can't admins review the request and do it?

Also, I am unable to change the password since the hacker has also changed the email associated with the account.

There is any btc address posted before Sad

Maybe you can check manually your post history...
