SaitamaX, when you signed up for Cloudbet, it was your responsibility to read and acknowledge the ToS.
I registered an account in 2016, in the 4 years when I was losing they didn't do anything like this.

Also it is like you go to a shop and give money to shopkeeper. Shopkeeper than puts the item on the dashboard but you can't pick it up because you have to do KYC and the shopkeeper says "F**K Off" when you want you money back. The shopkeeper didn't even had a KYC in ToS when you entered the shop, the shopkeeper puts KYC board in the bottom of dust bin while you were shopping and than shopkeeper says you didn't pick all the trash to see the KYC I put recently.
At the end, Shopkeeper is seen as clean to third party because KYC is term from govt but the real deal is that shopkeeper is lying and cheating to the buyer in name of KYC. Buyer neither receive his money back and is left in oblivion.

It is clear that Cloudbet has remained consistent with their ToS. Yes, it is a shady practice to ask for identification merely upon requesting a withdrawal of big winnings, however, it is not a scam, because their ToS clearly states this practice and elaborates on it.
Yes that is very shady and don't forget that the KYC was not even an issue. They first put "Gambling issues" and block my account, than they put KYC because they knew they were wrong in that.
If I don't want to do KYC than close my account and allow me to withdraw my balance and close it. When a company does this harassment to a person, do you think that anyone will do KYC. It is even scary to think what these guys will do with my KYC details.

However, that does not mean Cloudbet is entirely innocent, either. It is understandable that a post like this was made, given the mountains of accusations leveled against this particular website:

They are not innocent, they solved cases only when their was a 330BTC issue and at that time they solved all other cases because I believe their name got out everywhere as scammer.

There are so many posts where they confiscated user funds and people even didn't speak in lot of cases. Because for lot of people a few $ is not an issue. But for me it is and that is why I shared all scenario.

SaitamaX, when you signed up for Cloudbet, it was your responsibility to read and acknowledge the ToS.

Quoting Section 5.1.5:
"5.1.5. You authorize us to use any means that we consider necessary to verify your identity and creditworthiness with any third party providers of information."

Section 5.5.8 elaborates on identification procedures:
"5.5.8 Your winnings from settled bets are credited to your account and may be withdrawn in accordance with our withdrawal policy and if required by us, upon provision of the below materials to our satisfaction:

a copy of valid photographic identification (passport, driver's license)
proof of address (recent utility bill)
credit/debit card to our satisfaction
photo of yourself containing proof of date and identification materials"

@SaitamaX - The ball is firmly in your court. The only person that can resolve this issue is you. Our Customer Service Team have explained what is required (reiterated in several threads). If you provide satisfactory KYC, they will reopen your account and release the funds.

I am sorry but I cannot offer any further assistance than suggesting you engage with our CS Team.
It is not in my court, it is in your court.
First and foremost, this account was closed because of "Gambling issues" and then you put KYC.
Now to the point of KYC, you have a customer since 2016 and I say customer because you made money from my losings. When you customer won, you have problem now and this bring the point that you cannot be trusted with my KYC data at least for now.
This issue could be easily resolved if you give my account back and firmly ask me to do KYC and NOT block my account and my balance.

What you are doing with not just me but all users is outright SCAM.

If I had to do KYC, I would never have created this account on cloudbet and where were they when I was losing all of my bets and making deposits on Cloudbet
Cloudbet has been known to ask for ID when users tend to win big. Helps keep more money in the casino that way.
I searched for this now on google and you are right.

Helps keep more money in the casino that way.
That means anyone who wins can get into any type of scrutiny. And in my case they didn't put KYC first to ban account. 1 week over now and no one resolved it from cloudbet Sad

So you were underaged when you started or why do you refuse to do KYC? Seems so you have something to hide.
Roll Eyes

Don't we get tired of overused (and incorrect) bullshit cliches?

Why would you want others knowing your personal details if you should be able to keep that data to yourself? It's similar to as if you were abruptly stopped in the middle of the street and frisked.
Do you comply? If not, you must have something to hide! While you may not have anything shady to hide, you should not subject yourself to seizure of privacy just because of a contrived principle.

This guy gets it.
Yes, exactly.

There have been several scam accusations made against Cloudbet on this forum and throughout the internet. However, recently, Cloudbet has responded (quite lately) to a scam allegation that was left open on the Scam Accusations subforum, which means they do show initiative in trying to resolve their issues.
I really hope they resolve this.

Well, you would be wrong, because their ToS clearly states that they implement KYC measures and id verify. Please use another service if you wish to not go through this feature. Cloudbet has been known to ask for ID when users tend to win big. Helps keep more money in the casino that way.

Read fucking ToS before you deposit and cry here.

5.5.8 Your winnings from settled bets are credited to your account and may be withdrawn in accordance with our withdrawal policy and if required by us, upon provision of the below materials to our satisfaction:

a copy of valid photographic identification (passport, driver's license)
proof of address (recent utility bill)

Zero scam made, just you being stupid. Cloudbet never cares about your pennies.
Are you a moron ?
Did you even read what I wrote in Original Post.
First they speak about Gambling issues and block withdrawal then they push ToS.
They only pushed ToS after all stupid things.

It was you yourself, who told you have gambling issues and they do have rights to ask KYC whenever. I don't understand why do you cry here, do your KYC if you are legit and say bye to your money, if you are not legit. Easy as that.

Read ToS before depositing, as by depositing you agree on their ToS and at their ToS is clearly written that they can ask documents.

End of story.
No and after reading your response it looks like you are either pissed because your first post was wrong or  you are paid shill of cloudbet. From first post you have made in this thread, you are just backing cloudbet and not even reading the story.
And in previous post you tell cloudbet doesn't care about my pennies (assuming 300$ is pennies to you), then why not give my funds back if they are so legit.

They have scammed me in this case.

Please beware of cloudbet.
I got your PM and responding here instead of writing you in PM.

I will PM Ronnie to response you here. I noticed he was online yesterday but not sure why did not he respond here. May be he missed it.

Edit: PM sent. I hope he will address it here and will give you an answer.
Thank you very much Royse, I hope they allow withdrawal of all my funds. I never expected this to happen after being a member of cloudbet for so long.

Hi all,
I have again got the same message from Cloudbet and in place of sending my funds they have decided to keep my account closed until I provide KYC.
This is a complete scam and I have told them that they first provide withdrawal and then I will think about doing KYC or staying with cloudbet.

This is their final email on this matter.

They have scammed me in this case.

Please beware of cloudbet.

Did you read all the posts ?
First they said gambling issue and close my account. Once nothing was left than they put KYC.
Now since you put about KYC, where were they when I was depositing money and losing my money. Why didnt they ask for KYC when I was depositing money.

Also notice, I already said I would not have used or gone with some other betting company if I had to do KYC.
Also neither I was underage when I joined Cloudbet not I am from USA. They put KYC as the last way to block my winnings.

Seems so you have something to hide.
Why did you register on bitcointalk with a username and not with your original name and put KYC document on bitcointalk account as well.
You are talking on bitcoin forum which solves borderless payments and bitcoin doesn't ask you KYC to send/receive money. Exchanges and other services use KYC but they tell in advance that to use our service complete KYC first before doing anything.
Here in this case, they are asking me KYC(last thing) after I have won.

Please read original post again and you will see how they have changed the whole scenario to revolve around KYC now. Sad

You see first they post about gambling issues, then once they didnt had anything they put KYC thing.
I am a user since 2016 and never had anything like that with them in past. But now they do all this.
Yeah... not sure what's going on: I've withdrawn far larger amounts without being requested KYC. Like I said, concrete definitions of when KYC is enforced would help.

PS: All of the images are already present in first post.
Just posted them in image format since it's more accessible than clicking links. If you want to just copy the code onto your first post then I can take my images down. Smiley

I really hope so, these three days are sad for me. The sad part is once the support staff didn't had anything they put KYC thing. if I had to do KYC, I would not have used cloudbet in first place.
I believe it's in their ToS, similar to most gambling sites. It would be better if casinos would put down concrete requirements prior to a deposit but unfortunately that's not the status quo.

I read the entire topic and seems like you have covered everything so there are not much to talk about. Ronnie is doing very good job for the community and cloudbet. I am sure he come pop in here and will deal with it.

As you mentioned in the past there were accusation but cloudbet resolved them. I hope this will not be an exception.

Thanks for all the support, I have now been allowed my withdrawal.

Hi all,
I have been a user(SaitamaX) of cloudbet from a very long time. Short story, Cloudbet has banned my account with nearly 300$ stuck in that. I know 300$ is not much for lot of people but for me it is.
Cloudbet - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/cloudbet-sportsbook-and-casino-bet-with-btc-and-bch-100-deposit-bonus-333552
Cloudbet  Profile id - https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/cloudbet-154563

What has happened -
- On Saturday,
   - I wanted to withdraw some of my balance from cloudbet. I created a withdrawal request(some balance) and once I put a withdrawal request of the balance which got stuck and told support to check it.
   - Support sent me email that "They understand I want to withdraw my winning bets and it will be processed". I usually make both winning and losing bets and that is why I wanted to withdraw my winning bet. Because of this I explained that "Thanks for understanding and hope my withdrawals happen soon. I usually have a bad habit and gamble too much that's why my losses are huge. I don't know how to control that habit." (https://imgur.com/Bw68iRr)
   - My half withdrawal gets completed and that staff support sends my account to another team and says your account is banned because of "gambling issues. (https://imgur.com/jDSzVoJ)
   - Staff also tells they will contact me regarding my balance (https://imgur.com/YE6Ncii)

On Saturday, Sunday and Monday
   - I sent emails to support multiple times that please fix this, what is the matter with them and why they are not fixing or giving my balance back.
   - I sent them emails that either give account back or give my balance back for which they again replied we are looking into this matter.

On Monday
   - After multiple emails related to the issue and getting robot type reply from cloudbet, I finally told them I will write this scam information on bitcointalk if they don't give either my account or my balance which they promised. Once I sent them this email telling I will write their scam information to users of bitcointalk, these guys sent me another of their bullshit to do KYC and send image proof, govt id. If I had to do KYC, I would never have created this account on cloudbet and where were they when I was losing all of my bets and making deposits on Cloudbet. (https://imgur.com/gWCZS83)

I know cloudbet has returned big money back to people over the years and never thought they will scam me this for this amount.
I have been a nice customer to cloudbet since 2016 and I have been patient on this case to not put the issue on bitcointalk on the first day but now I have no choice but to raise this awareness with bitcointalk.

A genuine company will ask firmly their users to do KYC and NOT block their customers account like a mafia. This also poses a threat on the KYC data that we give to Cloudbet.

I hope people of bitcointalk can see this and hope my rightful winnings are returned to me.

Thank you
