This is very sad... I didn't even know that he was sick. He was with the community for a long time, and he was a very good person.

Does anyone know how to contact his family? Someone should immediately tell them that paraipan had at least 250 BTC of the forum's money (and probably more personal money) hidden away somewhere, so they shouldn't throw away any of his stuff. I'll eventually (after an appropriate period of time) need to contact them about returning the forum's money. Hopefully recovery is possible.

I agree that a period of time needs to pass before paraipan's family are asked about recovery, yes - else we run the risk of an emotional response, and aggravating a grieving family is unfair on them.

Dear friends, especially bitcoiners foreros I need to share with you the reason for my short absence of these past days, and possibly some more in the future. A mild allergy and has been getting worse over the course of a week I forced to visit the emergency department of the University Hospital 12 de Octubre. After all relevant evidence I have been diagnosed with acute leukemia in a more dangerous levels to view doctors. Right now I feel much better and mostly stable thanks to a team of physicians and nurses tremendous, thanks guys. Has been a really nasty surprise for me but we will have to move on. Thanks to my family and I hope you all get over it soon. Forgive me if I'm not commenting or supporting the community as usual, but when I do I hope to incorporate completely and I got used to the new routine already know hehe Hugs.

If he was sick and he knew he can die in a year or two he should not agree to hold 250BTC forums coins.

Paraipan (Alex) was affected by leukemia like one year ago, he has been fighting against this illness but at last his liver could´n hold the hard treatment was receiving.

Last days have been very painful for him, his family and friends, so I only can hope that finally Paraipan rest in peace.

How I wish you were here my dear friend.

I am going to be that dude. I am calling major BS, I need a death certificate. Until then he should get a scammer tag, it looks like he holds forum money.

250 BTC isn't something to sneeze out. And even if he is dead we need to go after his estate.

Ah. Was about to ask if he was holding anybodies money. Has any evidence been presented yet at all? Was he previously known to be ill?

If he was sick and he knew he can die in a year or two he should not agree to hold 250BTC forums coins.

Shocked Now I'll just sit back and wait.

I do not say that this is BS as I do  not know that ..

Please post obituary so we can stop thinking about is it or is it not BS.

EDITED:  I am thinking about this case from morning .. and I hope his spirit will forgive us asking about obituary and stuff...
I just want to believe that he is alive. He was young and this happen so suddenly. He was with us two days ago and now he isn't...

I do not know him and I shouldn't care, but I do care as he was a part of our community. A community that I choose to join. It is like a family..

What a shame, he looks like a good person.  That name rings a bell but I don't think I've had many if any conversations with him.  My condolences to his family and friends and all those who had a chance to get to know him on the forum.

This sucks! I'm one of the few he trusted with knowing his real name and of the secret project he and his team were working on.

"No man is an island,
Entire of itself,
Every man is a piece of the continent,
A part of the main.
If a clod be washed away by the sea,
Europe is the less.
As well as if a promontory were.
As well as if a manor of thy friend's
Or of thine own were:
Any man's death diminishes me,
Because I am involved in mankind,
And therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls;
It tolls for thee."

hate to be that guy, but is there any proof, like an obituary?

Reasonable request.  It would be nice to set a precedent where someone sends Grue a copy of the obituary in exchange for a permanent R.I.P tag.
A R.I.P tag would be interesting and respectful.
