Scat The Billionaire
Okay, we've now added pages for provability, recent bets and highest winners/hall of fame. (They can be found under the "About" tab)
Would be better if you put the provably fair page in new tab beside "about" tab.
Or somewhere outside. the website very simple and the game very simple too. I like it.
Just the website design need to fix for better looks.

Haha no way, I used to love this kind of horse racing game at the arcades when I was a young boy, I used to play them all the time. Great idea to attract people aged over 25 or so, the pic in the OP made me smile, brings back childhood memories hehe.
I will sign up to this site when I have some spare time, might have a play with a small amount of bitcoin Smiley
Good luck with the site guys, great idea, love it.

Is better add directly a page and a link with provably fair, is the option more important to the site.
Later you have add this, you have add your site to the burst coin official thread ? Is important because no dice accept burstcoin

Is possible play with burstcoin ? Is the first time i see a dice or betting site, that accept direct burtcoin, how did you implement them , given the kind of wallet that?
Actually it was a damn sight easier to implement the Burstcoin support than the BitCoin!
For BitCoin I have to find the player's account by looking up the previous transaction's output scripts, etc.
For BurstCoin the actual play transction has the sender's account directly in the transaction data. Way simpler. The API calls are easier to use too.
I still had to write code to confirm payouts (after a few blocks).

The BitCoin module to the game is almost twice as many lines as the BurstCoin module!

If you add a provably fair, sure you find more user like bet to the burstcoin thread

Okay I think I have the answer to the provability issue.
I'm off to bed now but will discuss it with my co-developer tomorrow and hopefully implement it tomorrow too.

Many thanks for the feedback everyone! I hope we can get this game up to scratch soon so that we can make more olde-worlde arcade games for people to play!

Awesome game this brings back beautiful memories with my family staying at the sea side every summer, It really does and you have created something brilliant to me an you can count me playing weekend evenings. When people create something different to what the majority are doing = awesomeness, well done!

Example from game logs:

Code:
2015-06-12 20:15:55.686906 Using tx hash as seed: 0058f868f69456d3ce1bb0df7454c08bf69734874feba2cae9b19359eb574e20

But when I look up that TX at blockchain.info:

Quote
Received time: 2015-06-12 20:15:39

And this is with the game server synced using NTP with offsets, delay and jitter sub 10ms.

Hmm. I just tried using the latest TX hash (by timestamp) from the bitcoin node's memory pool but I'm not sure that's going to be good enough.
Network propagation delays mean that other nodes might have a different latest TX to the node I'm using.
Even if I picked the highest-value TX from the memory pool I suspect the same issue would apply.

Another request here for provably fair.  It looks like fun but without a better thought out site I will pass for now.  Best of luck!

thanks panjul07, now i have understand.
But someone have test the game and received a payment?

I think no one played the game so far, since there is no provably fair verifier yet and there is no statistics on the site.
Hope those two things will be added as soon as possible.

Yes that site looks weird and horrible to play there without provably fair system, i think OP will explain how this site generate the bet result and i cant be manipulated on big bets, statics will nice addition to see how much wagered there and who got big profit there. these addition can build trust to get active players.

I think you're right: it looks like we need to add some form of registration so people can load up their account and play by just pressing the "Bet Now" button.
Would save a lot of fees!

I think I have an idea of how to do the provability - will get back to you when I've tested it.
Pretty much time to go to bed here though.

I remember these games in the arcades, still there in some local ones.  I see that you need to select your horse and then send your coins to the address supplied, maybe I have missed something but it would be nice and a bit quicker if you could top up your account and not have to select and then send coins each and every time.  Would be interested to see if anybody hits the big one and if you are able to pay out multiple winners.  Cool game though, brings back some memories

Max bet * max multiplier = .5btc

Care to show proofs of your bankroll? Can you pay several users hitting max multiplier?

I saw the white horse winning, but im afraid to see the max multiplier winning when im watching it feels like this are only for show to attract players then they manipulate the rolls
The white horse has to win SOMETIMES!
Also, the race you see is exactly the same race other people on the site see - at the same time too!
Multiple people could be betting on the same race.

---edit---

Just to clarify - because everyone sees the same race at the same time then there's no possibility that you're seeing white horse wins to reel you into playing.
Also, winners are currently generated using arc4random_uniform() but I can see provability is an urgent feature I need to address.

If you worry about the transaction fees, better to change your game into off-chain game.
And when a player win, who will pay for the miner fee? your site or the player?

Site pays transaction fees for winnings.
